Recently wedded actress, Toyin Aimakhu has really become angry with her critics who have not stopped lashing out at her over her marriage to fellow actor, Niyi Johnson. Since she walked down the aisle with her handsome hubby, the pretty actress has come under criticisms.

While some alleged that she's about three years older than her husband, others lambasted her for staging a low-key wedding ceremony as a celeb.

Not happy with the negative comments for her choice of marriage, the Edo State-born actress has allegedly placed a curse on her critics and begged God to make it come to pass.

She took to twitter to state, "I don't understand anymore. You people will insult us. You will be cursing us that is just a year, if the marriage breaks again, you people will be shouting that we are irresponsible. Anyways, anyone who places a curse or say negative words about my home, God of Abraham, God of God, Allah will place a curse on them and all their lives will bring negative meanings to people."

Mechanic Narrates Harrowing Experience In Ritualists Den

Posted: 28 Jul 2013 09:34 AM PDT

Eze Obasi is a motor mechanic  from Aninri Local Government Area of Enugu State. He resides at Oraifite Street, but has his workshop on Aku Street, all at  the Ogui New Layout  of  the Coal City.
That fateful Sunday in April, Eze had dressed up and was set to go for a child dedication with one of his friends but never had any inkling that he was heading for an encounter with the devil.
By the time he got to Aku Street, he could not find his friend. He then decided to cross over to Edinburgh Roundabout to recharge his phone and call him. He never made that call.  Rather, he found himself on a journey into a thick bush at  Akokwa, Ideato Local Government Area of Imo State, where he was to be offered to the gods as  sacrifice.

Two months after the traumatic experience from  which God saved him, Eze is still in shock and has found it difficult to believe that he could have died three months ago. The following is Eze Obasi's story as told by him.

"It was a Sunday and  I came out at the popular Edinburgh Roundabout, (the home of newspapers and vendors) in central Enugu and I saw one man who told me he was looking for a mechanic that would help fix his car. I told him I am a mechanic and requested to know where the vehicle was. He said it was parked at the WTC junction nearby, so I went and brought some tools and followed him.

"By the time we got there, I discovered that there were four young men. I opened the bonnet of the car, a Mercedes Benz V-Boot, which was bearing a government number plate. I stood in front of the bonnet and  by then all the four men were by my side. I asked them what was wrong with the car and they said it wasn't starting, so I bent over to check the engine.

"In the split of a second, I discovered that a substance had been blown into my face and had entered my eyes. I screamed 'my eyes oh'! And just as I struggled to regain balance and clear my face, the men guided me into the car, which sped off. Before we got  to the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus, UNEC, gate, I was already feeling sleepy and soon slept off.

"When I regained  consciousness, I discovered that I was in a bush and it was later that  I found out that I had been taken to somewhere in Akokwa, in the Ideato area of Imo State. I was very weak but was able to notice a group of young men inside a room nearby. It was then I said some prayers telling God that I only tried to help people in need and that in my town such gesture does not attract curse or condemnation.

"About an hour later, it was very dark and  noise started coming from the room and a red curtain on the door began to shake. Suddenly someone came from behind the curtains holding something like a bottle that had a blinking light. He ran the light through my body from head to toe and went back.  When he got close to the curtain, he asked who brought me to that place. He turned round and used the bottle to hit me and immediately I regained full consciousness. But as I tried to get up, I realized that I was tied to a bench.  Three of them came forward and untied me and led me through the bush to a point where the men touched me and immediately disappeared and I started struggling on my own to find a way out of the bush.

"It was very late by the time I got to the main road. I didn't know where I was but I continued moving until I saw a woman. I asked her where that place was and she said it's Akokwa in Imo State and asked who brought me to that place. I told her my story and she directed me to go straight on till I got to a junction. She said  one of the roads leads to Aba-Port Harcourt road and that the other leads to Arondizuogu, while the third leads to Nnewi. She advised me to take the route towards Nnewi that I would see a vehicle that would take me to Anambra.

"I told her that I didn't have any money on me and she brought out N500 and gave to me. I asked her how I would see her again to return her money and the woman asked me to go first; that I didn't realize what God had done for me.

"I boarded a vehicle and in the bus I narrated my story. The driver who took me to Anambra did not take a dime from me. I only paid a fare from Anambra to Enugu. And from New Market where the bus dropped me at about 12 midnight, I found my way back to my house at  Oraifite Street."

It wasn't the end of his ordeal.

Weeks after the ugly experience, Eze continued to hear strange voices and noise similar to the ones he heard coming from the mysterious house in the bush he was taken to at night.

"After narrating my story to people, I continued to hear those strange noises and languages which I didn't understand. It always happened when I was alone. There was a language they were speaking there which I didn't understand. So, it kept reverberating until my colleagues took me to a prayer house for prayers and thanksgiving, since then I stopped hearing the strange voices and noises ."

It was difficult for Eze to recall what those voices were saying. The only thing he remembered was  the voice that said 'young man, go! go! go!'

He recalled that after some  incantations that the man who appeared to be their leader chanted, he said they brought the wrong person and that he should  therefore, be taken away immediately.

Describing the scenario inside the bush, Eze noted that a house was built there probably for ritual purposes. He said it has a red curtain and  the ritualists  wore  blue uniforms. He described the room as a large one with members whom, he said, tied  pieces of clothing round their heads with a cross on their foreheads.  They were about 18 in number.

BlogVisitor Asks ''Should I Dump My Girlfriend And Hustle?''

Posted: 28 Jul 2013 09:17 AM PDT

I'm a 23 year old university graduat and I'm dating a very beautiful girl who's in her finals in the university. I really love her and I can bet the feeling is mutual.
The problem I have is many guys, men and even grandpas are after this girl 'cos you can't help but look @ her thrice when you see her.

They offer her a lot of things, things I can only dream of now 'cos I don't have the means yet, as am still a hustler.
Even though my folks are rich, I believe in spending my money; not theirs.
My future is very bright, I'm convinced but I dont know when its going to happen for me.
Should I leave this girl?I fear she's going to leave me for one of this oppressors at some point. I'm confused, I can't fight a battle without a weapon. Should I face my hustle or fight for this girl. I Seriously need advice.
Thanks.

*Lol*...The men who have experienced something like this should be able to give sound advice.

Actress Foluko Daramola Says She Prayed and God Gave Her Another Woman's Husband

Posted: 28 Jul 2013 08:18 AM PDT

This actress and her way of justifying husband snatching is funny. She made a man, who used to love his wife and kids, to send them out of his house overnight and she's calling it "God answers prayer"? How sad!

Below is a brief part of a recent chat where Foluke Darama talk about her action:

Since you got married, you hardly talk about your new status. Why?
Well, I thank God. I did not plan for it. I had told myself that I was out of it, and I was done with it. It just happened. I am happy with my husband. I thank God that I have a man that understands me and has taken me for who I am. He is someone who tells me to keep giving my best. He gives me a lot of push.

Many say the marriage is that of convenience, and it's all about the money. What is your reaction to this?
It is not at all about material things. In fact, if it is about material things, I would not be in this marriage; I will be somewhere else. What I need and prayed to God for is a man who will love me and understand me, and I got my wish.

Are you planning to have children with your new husband?
Oh sure. Children are the joy of every marriage and we definitely look forward to having children together.

Are you sometimes scared that this one might end up like the first?
That I believe is not a possibility. We are attracted emotionally to each other, and we both have a spiritual connection, which we didn't hesitate to find out all the way. My mum went out to pray about it with men of God. I also went out to pray and fasted over it. He had a past; I have mine, so the two of us coming together is like we don't have a choice than to make it work for both of us. If you have noticed, both our families, all the family members were involved, which is unusual. Normally, you find one or two family members saying one thing or the other, but in this case, everybody, my father-in-law, my brothers, my brothers and sisters-in-law, everybody, including my uncle and parents were positive. So, at the end of the day, you find that God is actually telling us something. So, I needed that spiritual conviction.

The first time, not that I didn't need the spiritual conviction, but then I wasn't in a hurry, everything people told me was like let us do it. But when I was about getting married, I had this strong heartbeat, it was very strong, but I looked at it and said maybe it's maturity and I know it is maturity. I guess it's just peace of mind. There is a difference between infatuation and love and this you may not know when you are young. Now, I know am in love with the right person, and my mind is at peace. We have our fights, we have our quarrels, but we understand we are both in something that has to work.

Why I Can't Stick Out My Neck To Support President Jonathan ––Amaechi Opens Up

Posted: 28 Jul 2013 08:13 AM PDT

Embattled Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi has said that President Goodluck Jonathan knows the right thing to do if he is indeed interested in contesting the 2015 presidential election.
Amaechi who stressed that as Chairman of Governors' Forum he is a critical stakeholder in the equation, insisted that: "If he [Jonathan] wants to contest, he will call me and inform me. And then we will look at it."
Asked by his interviewer if there are reasons why he might not support Jonathan who come from the same geo-political zone with him, Amaechi retorted: "I don't understand what you mean by I come from the same zone as the president and if there is any reason why I cannot support him. I've told you that the President is yet to say whether he wants to run or not."

The interviewer persisted and told the governor whether he did not think his refusal to answer the question was responsible for his problem with the Presidency. But Amaechi snapped back, saying:
"What makes the question simple? You want me to become a prophet and determine that the president will contest? Assuming I say today that I will support the President and tomorrow the President says he is not contesting. Let the President inform me that he wants to contest... If he decides to contest, he will call those that he wants to support him. That would be the time that we will discuss the issue."
On the specifics of their disagreement with PDP leadership, Governor Amaechi said, "It is all muddled up. You won't talk about governance without talking about the party. The party needs to look at the direction the government is going…If we want victory at the polls, we have to correct these things.
"The party is not consulting enough; it seems as if the party wants to undermine the governors. What you see in the NGF is a deliberate attempt to cause confusion and division among the governors."

Funke Akindele Cries To God: "I'm Sorry For Complaining"

Posted: 28 Jul 2013 08:05 AM PDT

It seems our dear actress Funke Akindele rushed into the marriage with Mr Oloyede, and that explains why she also rushed out. More like she was complaining to God about a man to call her husband and it got to a point she couldn't wait for divine intervention, hence she decided to do things her own way.
But she said she has learnt her lessons the hard way. See her short message to God below:

Dear God, I woke up,
I am healthy. I am alive.
Thank you!

I apologize for all my complaining.
I'm truly truly grateful for all you've done.

Pastor Battles Etsu Nupe Over Daughter’s “Forced Conversion” To Islam

Posted: 28 Jul 2013 07:56 AM PDT

This is a must read people, no jokes.

When Miss Charity (Aisha) Uzoechina, 24-year-old daughter of a Pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, left their Abuja home to further her studies at the Federal Polytechnic, Bida, Niger State, her parents had no inkling that it was the beginning of many days of sorrow.

Instead of the formal education she traveled to acquire, the young Christian girl is now allegedly pursuing her new faith of Islam at the palace of the Etsu Nupe.

For the parents, the pain is not just that Charity has abandoned her Christian faith, but that she now stands completely separated from them.

She was alleged to have converted to Islam on her own volition and changed her name to Aisha.

However, contrary to these claims, Pastor Raymond Uzoechina is insisting that his daughter is a victim of forced conversion to Islam.

The RCCG Pastor has, therefore, called on security agencies to investigate activities at the palace of the Etsu Nupe, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, to ensure that many people there had not been forced to convert to Islam and held against their will.

He said: "Apart from my daughter, there are so many people at the palace. There is need for the police to investigate and ensure that the people are not suffering the fate of my daughter".

Pastor Uzoechina believes that his daughter was kidnapped and hypnotised.

Narrating the genesis of the problem, he said it all started on March 1 and 2 when he got a call from an aide of the emir, asking him to come to the palace.

On getting to the palace in Bida, he said he met his daughter with two other women, adding "the man said these women brought my daughter to the palace that she has embraced Islam and she has also been withdrawn from school. Those women even claimed they have taken her through the rudiments of Islam and have started looking for a school for her. At this juncture, I demanded that I am going home with her. But the man declined, saying only the emir has the power to allow the girl go with me. They took me to the emir but the emir refused my plea, saying I should come back next week."

He continued that on March 4, two people who claimed to be from the Bida Sharia Court emerged with his daughter with a folded paper and asked him to sign but he refused.

Pastor Uzoechina got the greatest shock of his life when he tried to take his daughter but was told that she was now under the custody of the Sharia Court.

The Sharia Court 1, which said it arrived at the decision because the girl claimed her father could kill her following her change of faith, also accused the defendant (Pastor Uzoechina) of shunning an invitation to appear before it to defend himself.

"At this juncture, this honourable court hereby orders that the custody of the plaintiff be entrusted in the hand of Etsu Nupe for the time being and the Etsu Nupe should employ a qualified Islamic scholar who will be teaching her and showing her what the Islamic customs is all about and the plaintiff can even be watching and selecting a man of her choice whom she will want to marry as her partner", the court held.

In this state of confusion, Uzoechina said he had appealed the decision of the Sharia Court 1 through his lawyer, Anthony Agbonlahor.

The lawyer also petitioned the Chief Judge of Niger State, complaining about the conduct of the judge of the Sharia Court 1, Justice Abdulkadir Idris, saying that the court had no right to take custody of the girl.

"Contrary to the principle of natural justice vis- a-vis fair hearing, our client was not served either with the court summons/processes or hearing notice. The case was filed on March 4; the case was heard March 4 and judgment delivered on the same day. In fact, judgment was also executed on the same date. The question is: why the urgency?", he wondered.

Also, Pastor Uzoechina is still bemused over the fate of his daughter as well as the decision of the court.

According to him, "They (sharia court) have fixed Thursday, August 1 for ruling on our appeal that they don't have jurisdiction. You can't judge a Christian in a Muslim court. I am appealing to them to vacate the judgment because they don't have jurisdiction."
How can I kill my daughter?"

Concerning her daughter's alleged fear that he would kill her, he said "That is not true. My daughter cannot make that allegation. Why should I kill her? We asked them to bring her to the court so that my lawyer can cross-examine her but they refused.

"If she has converted to Islam, must she practice at the Etsu Nupe's palace? Is Etsu Nupe the chief security officer now? They should not separate me from my daughter. She has stayed in the palace for six months. If they say I will harm her, let them release her to the Inspector General of Police, leader of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN or ask me to write an undertaking. Why is my daughter still under Etsu Nupe's enclave? I am only talking about my daughter; there are so many people at the palace. There is need for the police to investigate and ensure that other people are not suffering the fate of my daughter. They did not allow my wife to see my daughter when she visited the
palace."

Be that as it may, the Etsu Nupe is not in any way moved by the Pastor's arguements, instead the emirate has produced legal documents where Charity reportedly said she had converted to Islam and alleged that his father could kill her for the action hence the need to seek protection from the Palace and the Sharia Court, which the court granted.

The Etsu Nupe has refused to release the lady to his father citing the sharia court ruling.

The emirate also absolved itself of the allegations of kidnapping and hypnotizing the young Christian girl.

It said in a statement that Miss Uzoechina approached the monarch for protection over her change of faith from Christianity to Islam on February 15.

It continued that "the royal father invited the father of the girl for talks, with the hope of reconciling them. On March 2, the father came to the palace and was taken before His Royal Highness. It was at His Royal Highness chamber that the father came face to face with his daughter. After discussions with the girl and her father, the Etsu Nupe asked the girl to go back home with her father to resolve the matter as a family.

"The girl refused to go home with her father fearing that the father may harm her going by the encounter at the Etsu Nupe's palace. The girl left the palace and approached a court in Bida for protection, a request which the court granted the girl. The girl has since been in the custody of the court in Bida. Her reason was that her father insulted her and she was scared that he may harm her because of his utterances during their short meeting.

As it stands not, it will take only the court for the young girl to be re-united with her family. The long awaited August 1, 2013 ruling of the Bida Sharia Court 1 may not even be the end, but beginning of a long legal battle
