Facts: TB Joshua Speaks On His Relationship With Aso Rock and Al-Mustapha Posted: 22 Jul 2013 10:38 AM PDT Prophet T.B. Joshua has responded to a controversial online article suggesting he was the mastermind behind the release of Major Hamza Al-Mustapha, through a prophesy to President Goodluck Jonathan. Sahara Reporters had posted an article titled 'Pastor T.B. Joshua Revealed As Man Behind Al-Mustapha's Release' which quoted an anonymous source identifying TB Joshua as the person who told Jonathan that his political fortune in 2015 rested with setting Al-Mustapha free and bringing James Ibori back to Nigeria. Below is TB Joshua's official reaction on his relationship with Aso Rock and Al-Mustapha: "This article is from the enemy," the Nigerian cleric fumed via a statement on his official Facebook page, followed by close to 750,000 people. "They should not drag me into the issue of politics. If I was ever to go to Aso Rock, I would go publicly. I have already told you how I met Al-Mustapha. Don't put words in my mouth." After Al-Mustapha's release last week, his first port of call was to Prophet TB Joshua whom Mustapha later described upon his triumphant arrival in Kano as an 'old friend'. TB Joshua had immediately granted an interview following Mustapha's visit, explaining that he met Mustapha following his [Joshua's] wrongful imprisonment by the NDLEA and had prophesied to him about his long prison sentence and eventual release. "It is therefore very malicious for Sahara Reporters to attach any political meanings to Al-Mustapha's visit," T.B. Joshua continued, denying that he had any involvement in Al-Mustapha's release. "Count me out of the politics of hatred," the popular Prophet stressed. |
Posted: 22 Jul 2013 10:35 AM PDT Adebayo Salami, a.k.a Oga Bello, has been on stage for 49 years. Not once has he given retirement a thought. What's his staying power? This and more he talks about in this interview How did you come to be known as Oga Bello? That was in 1969 when we (Ojo Ladipo Theatre) were running a programme on NTA. It was entitled, 'Bar Beach Show.' It was a variety show and we had a 15-minute comedy sketch. Ojo Ladipo played the role of a comedian, Mama Awero was the society lady and I played the role of Bello, an office executive and that name stuck. What gingered your interest in acting? I used to watch a programme entitled, 'Village Doctor.' That motivated me to acting. I started acting with Young Stars Concert Party in 1964 when I was 12 years old. The group metamorphosed to Ojo Ladipo Theatre. I was in school when I joined them. My parents were not interested in the path I had chosen and they went as far as threatening to curse me. I left home and lived with a friend who had a church until my parents came for me. You no longer appear on stage productions… I love stage productions but in the last 15 years, I have not been active on stage. Unfortunately, film and celluloid have taken over. I am working on a stage production currently. You worked with Ojo Ladipo, an industry pioneer… I was with him until he died in 1978. There was discipline unlike now when actors lack self control. He discovered my talent and I later became his assistant. I was able to take charge of the group after he died. Under his tutelage, I was able to develop myself. When I joined the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing in 1970, I spent my first salary and bicycle allowance on printing movie posters. You combined acting with being a civil servant? I started acting as a student and later, as a civil servant. I joined the civil service in as a library assistant in 1970 and resigned in 1974. Later, I was appointed as personal assistant to the then Minister of Works and Housing, Alhaji Femi Okunnu. Then, they were known as federal commissioners. When he was leaving office in 1974, he asked me to resign and go with him and I did. He set up his law chambers and I was with him until 1976. Even while I was working with him, I was still acting and he contributed a lot to my life as an actor and to the development of Ojo Ladipo Theatre. In 1976, I resigned for full time acting. When did you get your first big break? In 1970. It was a stage production at the Lagos State Festival of Arts. I played a lead role in a play called Ogbon Gbemiga and we won the first prize. How much did you charge for a role then? Then, the industry was not what it is now. We did not even think about money but loved to act. You rarely take part in English movies? The truth is I don't get invited. I don't know whether my spoken English is not good enough for them. In the past, I took part in an English movie for Wale Adenuga. If I am invited, I will oblige but I will never lobby. I even prefer to be recognised with the Yoruba movie industry because that is the cradle of the industry in Nigeria. When did you become a producer? So far, I have produced about 17 films. From the outset, I had loved to be a producer and usually, I write my stories myself. The first movie I produced was Ogun Ajaiye under the stable of Awada Kerikeri in 1985. In 1987, I produced Omo Orukan and in 1989, Eri Okan and all of these were on celluloid. I joined the home video industry reluctantly because I knew it was not accepted internationally. Unfortunately, the economy was not stable and there were no equipment to produce films in Nigeria. Which gives you more fulfilment; being a producer or an actor? A producer. I am better fulfilled when I am able to interpret my scripts. I conceived it, wrote it and I believe nobody can interpret it better than myself. Do you think of retiring soon? An artiste does not retire. If you have a talent like mine and you don't put it to use, it will haunt you. Instead of retiring, you move with the times. I am going to keep acting for as long as I live. What has been your staying power in 49 years of acting? God's grace. Individually, we are on earth for a purpose and God has sent me to minister to people using this medium. Secondly, I am hardworking and have been able to endure. I am honest in my dealings and also focused. Did you raise any objections when your children began to join the industry? There is Femi, Sodiq, Tope and Rilwan. Sodiq is a production manager and producer. Tope is a director, producer and writer. Femi is an actor and writer, Rilwan is a production editor. I never called any of them to act and did not insist that they join the movie industry. As a responsible father, all I owe them is good and quality education. They are graduates and I didn't force them to do any course. When Femi, who is a lawyer, decided to act, I gave him my blessings. Sodiq is a geologist; Tope and Rilwan computer scientists. In fact, when they joined the industry, I was relieved because I won't have to start looking for white collar jobs for them after graduation. When the fame came, how did you handle it? I was unable to handle it because it came unannounced. Youthful exuberance did not help matters either. I made mistakes but I have been able to correct them. I thank God. How will you describe yourself as a father and husband? I am responsible and I care for my wives and children. How many wives do you have? Please let's leave the number of wives. I don't want to talk about that. I met my first wife while in the secondary school and I met the second through my younger sister. Did you have a privileged upbringing? I was born in Agege, Lagos but I did not live with my parents. They took me to Okepopo, Lagos Island, where I was brought up. I went to Ansarudeen School, Okepopo but I did not enjoy the privilege of a university education. There was no money but I trained myself. I managed to go to Adebodun Commercial School. Later I joined Lagos Drama School which was then affiliated to the University of Lagos. Aside acting and producing, what other things do you do for a living? I am an actor and producer by profession and that is what puts food on my table. Except you are cutting corners, the industry is bound to keep you busy such that there is little or no time left for other businesses. How do you unwind? I like listening to music. I listen to apala, sakara and Fuji How do you like to dress? I like to wear simple outfits. You have not seen me in a suit because there is no reason for me to put on one. I have them, I just don't wear them. I can't even remember when last I put on a suit. I am an African man and I like to celebrate my culture. How do you keep fit? My mind is at peace. I have trained my children (I have 15 graduates and two undergraduates). This means that I have planned for my old age. What will you like to be remembered for? My good works. The legacy I leave for people in terms of the interpretation of my movies. Have there been times when you felt like quitting the industry? Yes, after Baba Mero died. Again, we lost his first wife. I felt like quitting because I thought that was how we all were going to die one after the other! There were rumours that I killed Baba Mero. It was the late Baba Hubert Ogunde who called me and said success comes with lots of challenges and I should develop a thick skin. Thank God, I have allowed sleeping dogs lie. @punchng |
Miss Nigeria 2013 To Lead Campaign Against Child Marriage Posted: 22 Jul 2013 10:20 AM PDT Newly crowned Queen has hit the ground running: "These children are not prepared for the tedious demands of Marriage and family life. This kind of law will keep relegating the girl child to the background and will also reduce her chances of being educated in order to liberate herself," she said. Following the approval of Child Marriage by Nigeria's Senate at the ongoing Constitution amendment in the National Assembly, Miss Nigeria 2013, Akudo Ezinne Anyaoha, has added her voice to the campaign against Child marriage in Nigeria. The Law Graduate of Abia State University, who has cancelled all her engagements in Lagos to seek audience with the leadership of the House of Representatives to present the petition personally, described child marriage as a violation of human rights adding that the girl child should be allowed to live out her childhood instead of subjecting her to sexual and physical abuse. "Child marriage perpetuates poverty and leads to poor health as children will not only be withdrawn from their peers, but they will have psychological trauma and physical challenges such as Vesico Vaginal Fistula" she said. The young damsel who in the next few weeks will launch her pet project is determined to use her office to fight sexual violence stating that this act is not only harmful to the girl child but also to the family, community and the nation as a whole because it stifles development. She enjoins Nigerians to come together in one voice to fight this act. "This is the right time for all well meaning Nigerians to come out and speak against this shameful act because it will go a long way to derail the current transformation agenda of the current administration and subsequently place the Nigerian girl far behind her peers across the world" "I want to also use this medium to urge the House of Representatives to follow the path of honour by rejecting this particular clause during their Clause - to - Clause consideration of the amended part of the constitution" she concluded. It will be recalled that on the 16th of July 2013, the Senate resolved to alter section 29(a) of the constitution which stipulates that a woman shall not be qualified for marriage until she attains 18 years. The Senate deleted the age specification for women from the draft constitution and left the marriage age open which implies that children can marry. 2face Baby Mama Sunmbo In Secret Wedding with Her Pastor Posted: 22 Jul 2013 10:17 AM PDT I hear Pastor Tunde Adeoye has decided to ignore the opposition of some of his family and church members who are not happy with his decision to get married to Sunmbo Ajaba, a lady who had kids for popular Naija musician, Tuface Idibia, out of wedlock. Consequently, the love birds decided to shot out church members from their wedding. Olokunbolablessing.blogspot.Com gathered that their marriage is holding at a secret location in Lagos on Monday July 22, and church members have been advised not to bother to attend, as it's for a selected few. Sunmbo is a choir mistress in Pastor Adeoye's Royalty Christian Centre church. Congrats to them! |
BBA: Beverly & Angelo's Love Growing Stronger Posted: 22 Jul 2013 04:56 AM PDT Awww, Angelo does not need to wait to the end of the game before taking Beverly home to his parents, likewise Beverly herself. They are on Tv, and the entire world can see, especially their parents, lol. Back to the main gist; Angelo and Beverly have been close pals in the house, especially after the 'fingering' thing. Here's what Angelo told our very own Beverly; 'Beverly, I respect you and I love you and I know you've been through things in life. Life is bigger than just having sex with you. Maybe you think you have to give it up to make me love you, but just know I love you', while Beverly replied with 'I love you' as the two continued to talk about the future of their relationship. |
Why Jonathan and His Wife Are After Me ––Governor Amaechi Bares It All Posted: 22 Jul 2013 04:52 AM PDT Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi has finally opened up; he accused President Goodluck Jonathan of turning the PDP into a "one-man show" and of condoning "impunity and authoritarianism" in an effort to ensure his re-election in 2015 at all cost... Amaechi, in an interview he granted the Financial Times of London, added that the President and his wife, Patience, were bent on removing him from office. He traced his travails to the fear in the Presidency that whoever was in charge of Nigeria Governor's Forum had the capacity to influence the presidential election in 2015. The governor said, "There is this fear in the Presidential Villa that whoever chairs the Governors' Forum will influence the presidential election," Amaechi told FT in Port Harcourt on Tuesday. In a report posted by FT on Sunday, he alleged that "What has happened has been engineered to the point where the President and his wife are trying to remove me from office." "We are seeing an absence of law and order that can breed anarchy. It seems those at Federal Government level are not interested in democracy, but impunity and authoritarianism. The President needs to check this," the governor added. Amaechi also told the FT that he had not decided on his plans for 2015. He said that efforts by some in the PDP leadership to claim that he had lost the governors' forum vote, despite him obtaining 19 votes to his challenger's (Jonah Jang of Plateau State) 16, was a concerning sign ahead of 2015. |
Mr. President; Please Who Will Rot In Hell? By Adekoya Boladale Posted: 22 Jul 2013 04:48 AM PDT Few days ago I woke up to a very disturbing news; one of the 'usual' that has characterized our social, political and economic lives. Forty two young promising school children in Yobe State, Nigeria were murdered in cold blood. All evidence pointed to the dreaded Islamic sect Boko Haram as the mastermind behind the attack. In one of the reports, a young boy who was shot at recounted how he lost four of his fingers while trying to escape. This is one of the scenarios that have become part and parcel of our daily lives. It is so shattering that even the media now choose which of the tragic news is worth reporting, depending on the impact of such attack. The usual headlines like 'Two killed, seven injured', 'Gun attack in Kaduna, 3 dead', that has characterized our national tabloids for a while are now considered soft touch and no longer catchy. Journalists now see it as not news worthy to report attacks or killings if the death toll is not up to at least ten. This is how far we have come to embrace anarchy, insecurity and chaos. Nigeria presently is second only to Somalia which is then next to Syria in terms of state of insecurity. Alas, while these young children who ought to be our future leaders were screaming to high heaven in horrifying pains, our dear president was nowhere to be found. To make matter worst the trio of Reuben Abati, Doyin Okupe and acclaimed Pastor Reno Omokri who continuously are being paid with tax payers money went missing in a time when they should be out not just condemning the attack but giving the people hope and reassuring the citizens of the ability of the government to put an end to the madness. Almost 72 hours after the scenario, the presidency 'got its bearing' and President Jonathan speaking through his self styled spokesman, Dr. Reuben Abati made one of the most outrageous statements a president can ever make, 'anybody who will target innocent children for any kind of grief or emotional dysfunction will certainly rot in hell'. The interpretation of this is that government now sees the protection of the citizens and justice for the bereaved as a divine duty better left for God, that government is no longer responsive to the security of the people and cannot be held accountable for the inability to provide justice but rather the citizens must wait till the religious day of judgment. This is not surprising to me and shouldn't be to any Nigerian who voted for Goodluck Jonathan in 2011 merely because of his 'shoeless tales' and 'goodluck' syndrome; we shouldn't complain the moment we chose pity and appeal over credibility and substance. Every step the presidency has taken to eradicate these insurgents has continued to make mockery of the political and social institution of our country. Recently the president through a nationwide broadcast announced a declaration of the state of emergency on some northern states viewed as the hub of the sect. The power of a state of emergency is so huge that it has been highly effective in managing major crises around the world such as Tunisia, Mali, Kyrgyzstan, United States (in cases of natural disasters) to mention just but a few. But the Nigeria situation is different because the declaration has not stopped the onslaught against innocent citizens of the country by the Boko Haram terrorist group, the only change is that the usual Sunday attack mode has been eradicated as most attacks are now impromptu. Another down side is that children and students are now the major point of attack. Most times I wonder how the president relate with the families of these children or how do you inform a parent that his/her child was brutally murdered because you fail to perform your duty as a political office holder. How do you inform a mother that her only child whom she suffered to carry for nine months was fell by a terrorist's bullet because you continue to play ping pong with the security of the country in order to award outrageous funds for security in the budget? It is high time the presidency understands that hell isn't meant for murderers and terrorists alone. Every individual who continues to feed fat on the collective resources of others, every leader who fails to live up to his/her promises, every soul placed in the position to better the lives of others but continue to use such position for selfish interest are all candidates of hell. Local government Chairmen who receive monthly allocation and use such to build houses and acquire personal property, send their children to expensive schools abroad and expand their empires are candidates of hell. State Governors who shortchange local governments of its monthly allocation, siphon state revenue, divert state resources for personal use, award ghost contracts are candidates of hell. Ministers who make the ministry a family fun fare, divert public fund to personal use, escalate project expense and travel at will on frivolous trips are candidates of hell. Presidents and first ladies who move around the world with floods of unnecessary entourage, would rather award oil blocs to family and associates rather than promote local refineries, would prefer to render lip service on electricity rather than see to adequate power generation, would prefer to give out amnesty to rogues and thieves rather than stand up to defend the helpless citizens, would prefer to see the growth of capitalist while common citizens lavish in abject poverty are candidates of hell. There are no doubt people who have been a source of sorrow to fellow humans will not go unpunished, the Bible and Holy Quran are specific on this, but does that warrant the president to sit down and do nothing? Does that give political officers who have sworn before God and man to protect the lives and properties of the citizens the license to hold their peace? Was God the man that stood up in front of the mammoth crowd to declare his intention to govern the country? Obviously hell is a place for all sinners, the evil ones whose souls have been engulfed by the taste for blood and anger will not be spared; but it is high time the presidency started worrying more about its apartment in the place called hell! Abeg - Who Hot Pass? Wizkid’s Girlfriend VS Davido’s Girlfriend Posted: 22 Jul 2013 04:45 AM PDT They are both young and doing very well in the Nigeria music industry. They have both being compared in almost everything, from fan clout to financial success to musical talents, and both have proven their worth in these areas over and over again. However, while reading through comments from different websites and blogs to see who is/has being 'winning' so far in the above comparisons, I noticed that both artistes' girlfriends haven't been compared! I searched but I couldn't find anything! I guess the reason is because, unlike Wizkid (who has a girlfriend and flaunts his relationship) lots of fans don't know Davido also has a girlfriend too! And yes, she is a looker! Her name is Nish Kards, and just like Wizkid's belle Tania Omotayo she is mixed too! One wonders why Davido doesn't want to flaunt his relationship. I guess he doesn't want the media to spoil things for him. Ok enough of the talk guys, oya back to the matter open and close Below are the pictures of wizkid and his girlfriend Tania omotayo together and individual pictures of Tania omotayo….also below are the pictures of Davido and his girlfriend Nish kards together and individual pictures of Nish kards So guys over to you all. who is hot btw the two ladies? NB: Forgive me guys I had to put lots pictures of both ladies so you all can 'feed' your eyes and also to enable you guys judge properly! You know one can't use just one picture each to judge who is the hottest btw two individuals. So let the judging begin. No partial and no side talk oo....let roll the dice |
PHOTO: Obasanjo Meets Buhari Over 2015 Posted: 22 Jul 2013 04:22 AM PDT What is going on with between them? Is the gist going around that they may work together really true? Already, five Northern governors are meeting ex-Generals Ibrahim Babangida and Abdulsalami Abubakar with regards to the powerful realignments needed to win the 2015 Presidency. Could this be one of the reasons why President Goodluck Jonathan is very worried? |

This Woman Was Raped By Her Friend but She's Going to Jail Posted: 22 Jul 2013 03:36 AM PDT "He dragged me by my purse in, so I thought, 'OK, I just need to calm the situation down. I will finish my bottle of water, I will sit here and then I will excuse myself and say I feel fine.'" "I woke up with my clothes off, sleeping on my belly, and he was raping me. I tried to get off, I tried to get him off, but he pushed me back down." Norwegian interior designer Marte Deborah Dalelv has spoken out after being handed a 16-month prison sentence in Dubai -- after she went to police to report she had been raped by a colleague. The 24-year-old was convicted and sentenced on charges of having unlawful sex, making a false statement and illegal consumption of alcohol. Her story is dominating the headlines in Norway, and has raised serious questions over the way women who allege sexual assault are treated in the United Arab Emirates. Dalelv, who had been working at an interior design firm in Qatar since September 2011, told CNN on Saturday how a work trip to Dubai in March with three colleagues turned into a nightmare. She said she had been out at a bar with her colleagues and friends, and asked a male colleague to walk her to her room when they returned at 3 a.m. to the hotel. She'd asked him to escort her because the hotel was large and confusing, and she didn't want to be wandering on her own, knowing she'd been drinking, she said. When they reached a room, she realized it wasn't hers -- but the man then pulled her inside despite her vocal objections, according to Dalelv. After someone knocked -- the hotel wake-up call -- she managed to get dressed and make it downstairs to the hotel reception, Dalelv said. "I called the police. That is what you do. We are trained on that from when we are very young," she said. Some 10 or 12 male police officers arrived, but no female police officers were present, she said. Statements were taken from both Dalelv and the alleged rapist. She was then taken to Bur Dubai police station, she said. After again giving her version of events to officers, Dalelv said, "They asked me, 'Are you sure you called the police because you just didn't like it?' I said, 'Well of course I didn't like it.' That is when I knew, I don't think they are going to believe me at all." Dalelv says she was taken for an intimate medical exam and tested for alcohol consumption. Her belongings were taken and she was kept in jail for four days, she said, with no explanation as to why. Dubai police and UAE government officials have not responded to repeated CNN requests for comment. Dalelv said she managed to call her parents on the third day to tell them she had been raped and ask them to contact the Norwegian Embassy. A day later, a representative from the Norwegian consulate came to the police station and she was released -- but her passport was not returned. A piece of paper with Arabic text was handed to her, she said. An Arabic speaker told her it listed two charges against her: one for sex outside of marriage and the other for public consumption of alcohol. Both are violations of the law in the United Arab Emirates. It was the first time she was made aware that she faced charges, Dalelv said. She was allowed out on bail and has been staying since at the Norwegian Seaman's Center in Dubai. Subsequently, she said her manager advised her to tell the police it was voluntary sexual intercourse and likely the whole issue would just go away. She followed the advice and in one of the many hearings at the public prosecutor's office, she made a statement saying it was voluntary. Dalelv was then charged with making a false statement. "That was my biggest regret because it wasn't voluntary. I just thought it would all go away," she told CNN. But a representative of Al Mana Interiors, who Dalelv worked for, told CNN that she was not advised by her manager to say the sex was consensual but rather by a police officer, who told her that in Arabic and it was translated into English by her manager. Dalelv said a month after the rape, while forced to stay in Dubai as the case wound through the legal system, she was fired. The representative, who declined to be publicly identified, said Dalelv and the Sudanese man she accused -- who is married with three children -- have both been terminated by Al Mana Interiors for "drinking alcohol at a staff conference that resulted in trouble with the police." A statement released late Saturday by Al Mana Interiors spokesman Hani El Korek said the company was sympathetic to Dalelv "during this very difficult situation." It also said that company representatives were by her side through the initial investigation, spending "days at both the police station and the prosecutor's office to help win her release." "Only when Ms. Dalelv declined to have positive and constructive discussions about her employment status, and ceased communication with her employer, was the company forced to end our relationship with her," the statement said. "The decision had nothing to do with the rape allegation, and unfortunately neither Ms. Dalelv nor her attorneys have chosen to contact the company to discuss her employment status." The company is owned by Qatari billionaire Wissam Al Mana, who made headlines earlier this year after it was revealed that he has secretly married singer Janet Jackson in 2012. Dalelv was convicted Tuesday on all three charges and was sentenced to one year in jail for having unlawful sex, three months in jail for making a false statement and one month for illegal consumption of alcohol. CNN could not immediately confirm what happened to the alleged perpetrator, who was charged with public intoxication and having sex outside of marriage. Dalelv is scheduled to appear at the court on September 5 to begin the appeal proceedings. Dalelv, who is not allowed to leave the UAE pending the appeal, said her lawyers have instructed her to be prepared to go back into jail while they submit a request for bail while the appeal is ongoing. As a rule, CNN does not identify victims of sexual assault, but Dalelv went public with her story. A Facebook page has been set up calling for Dalelv's release, as well as a petition urging the Norwegian government to take action on her behalf. Her conviction may risk wider diplomatic repercussions. Norwegian Foreign Affairs Minister Espen Barth Eide called his UAE counterpart, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed al-Nahyan, on Friday night to protest Dalelv's sentencing, a statement from the Norwegian ministry said. "I emphasized that we believe that the conviction is contrary to fundamental human rights, including conventions that the UAE have officially ratified," Eide is quoted as saying. "Norway will continue to do what we can to support her in what is a very difficult situation. Our cooperation with the UAE is strong and good, but I conveyed to my colleague that we are worried that this difficult case may disturb our good relations if we do not reach a good solution in the near future." Dalelv told CNN she received a call from Eide on Friday reiterating Norway's support. While Dubai has a reputation as a cosmopolitan city that boasts Western influences, where visitors can drink at bars and restaurants and unmarried couples can share hotel rooms, the country adheres to Islamic laws and traditions. The United Arab Emirates has been heavily criticized by rights groups, which say it condones sexual violence against women. Human Rights Watch has called its record "shameful," saying it must change the way it handles such cases. In December 2012, a British woman reported being raped by three men in Dubai. She was found guilty of drinking alcohol without a license and fined. In January 2010, a British woman told authorities she was raped by an employee at a Dubai hotel. She was charged with public intoxication and having sex outside of marriage. An Australian woman reported in 2008 that she was drugged and gang-raped. She was convicted of having sex outside marriage and drinking alcohol, and she was sentenced to 11 months in prison. |
Dear Men, Here Are The List Of Things We Find Unappealing About You- Women Posted: 22 Jul 2013 03:28 AM PDT When a woman loves, she loves whole-heartedly. And when a woman hates… Well complete it. Men aren't the only ones who get turned off by some attitudes or behaviours in their spouses, women feel this way too and even though she might not voice it, she does feel it. If you do any of the things listed below as a man, then it is time to change cos your woman is certainly not feeling it… ~Noise making: just as a man loves his woman to act like a lady, a woman also loves her boo to act like a gentleman. If you aren't a bus driver/conductor then why in God's name do you act like that behind the wheels? Why do you yell at every passing vehicle in traffic? Why do you raise your voice in public? Why do you create unnecessary attention to yourself wherever you go? What's wrong with you? If your spouse isn't a pepper seller or a local woman from your village, then trust me, she's hating that part of you deep inside. ~Dressing: oh trust me I have seen grown men sagging. And I always wonder, are they out of their freaking minds? I have also seen grown men, walk around in clothes Wiz kid and Davido (and the rest of the music gangsters wear) would wear and it seriously makes me wonder. You know why Wiz kid dresses the way he does? Well cos he's wiz KID. And Davido says he's 20 so yes, he's still allowed to dress however. You see my friend, when you are grown, everything including your style grows with you. You ditch the Kanye like gangster clothes for Jay Z/Dare art Alade like clothes. Yes, clothes for grown ups become your style. You ditch the saggy jeans for a clean-cut suit and dress like a grown up. Women love that. Women love grown up men. Dressing like an adult is what is appealing to a woman. ~Dirty men: some men can wear the same underwear for days without washing them. How far na? ~Liar: a man who lies is unattractive to a woman. No woman wants to have to check everytime to know if her man is being truthful or not. There are so many important things in life that one has to worry about. A lying man shouldn't be one of them. ~Drunk men: no woman wants a man who hangs out with his friends, gets drunk and starts acting irrational. That's childish, that's ridiculous and that's unappealing. ~Overprotectiveness: yes, a woman wants you to care. No, a woman doesn't want you breathing down her neck everytime. She needs you to trust her, back off already. ~Promiscuity: no woman in love wants to share her man. None whatsoever. If as a man you can't keep your hands off the cookie jar, a woman would find you too risky to be with. And can you blame her? |
TB Joshua Is Secretly Working For Jonathan's Ambition? Posted: 22 Jul 2013 03:26 AM PDT A source at the Presidency in Abuja said Prophet TB Joshua has so much control over President Goodluck Jonathan right now that whatever he requests is granted without delay because the president believes that the prophet holds the spiritual key to his electoral success in 2015. The revelations are quite mind-blowing. Read the full gist below: Sources have told Sahara Reporters that last week's "judicial decision" which set Hamza Al-Mustapha free of murder charges is owed to President Goodluck Jonathan, who was following a "spiritual" fortune-telling that would enable him to win the 2015 election. Pastor TB Joshua, who has Mr. Jonathan eating out of his hands, has been identified as the person who told the Nigeria leader that his political fortune rests with setting Al-Mustapha free. In addition, Mr. Joshua has also told Mr. Jonathan if he is to win in 2015, he needs to bring back to Nigeria James Ibori, the former Delta State governor who is currently serving a 13-year jail term in the United Kingdom. After TB Joshua's spiritual "forecast" was told to Jonathan, Sahara Reporters sources say he instructed the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Adoke to take care of the judges involved in the case, giving him a war chest of $2 million. But a judge, Justice Ibrahim Saulawa, a Northern Muslim, who was earlier contacted to do the dirty job, refused to accept the bribe and removed himself from consideration of the plan. Another judge, Amina Augie, was then drafted to handle the Al-Mustapha's acquittal. Ms. Augie, formerly known as Anna Graham, who is originally from Anambra State and fourth wife of late Senator Adamu Augie of Kebbi State, took the case and assembled some lawyers to help with drafting the judgement. It is also alleged that she got help from some members of the Nigerian human rights community in drafting the judgement, which blamed the prosecutors in Mr. Mustapha's case for doing a "shoddy" job. Among other ridiculous arguments, Ms. Augie's claimed in the judgement that the prosecution couldn't provide the bullet that killed Mrs. Kudirat Abiola in 1996. Strangely however, Ms. Augie's concurring judgement was already made available to subscribers of an exclusive Nigerian lawyer's listserve, "Rule of Law" Nigeria. The judgement was provided to the listserv by the chairperson of the Nigerian Human Rights Commission, Chidi Odinkalu, who had initially derided a Saharareporters' investigative report, which revealed that a deal was in the works to set Al Mustapha free of the murder charges two weeks before the judgement was hatched. With reference to bringing Ibori home, it is unclear how Jonathan will go about it. The National Assembly has approved a prisoner swap law with the United Kingdom but it is yet to be seen how Ibori might benefit from that. Between his all-but-buried war against corruption and his deep desire to retain the presidency, there may be no limit to what policies he may come up with. President Jonathan and his wife, Patience have made several nocturnal visits to the pastor since becoming president. Al Mustapha also visited the Pastor soon after he was released from prison before heading to Kano to meet with family and friends. - Note: this news is 100% from Sahara Reporters, not Olokunbolablessing.blogspot.Com. |
