WITCH: Bird Turns Into Woman In Broad Day Light

Posted: 26 Jul 2013 10:43 AM PDT

Things like this were only seen in movies before now, but it happened on Thursday at Afromedia street in the Okokomaiko area of Lagos. The story behind the bird that changed in this woman is strange:

From what I hear, three (3) birds were flying in the area and suddenly one fell and landed into a water and to the surprise of all around, the bird changed into this woman.
A source told Olokunbolablessing.blogspot.Com the bird-turned-woman was "arrested" by the police where she confessed to be a native of Ikole, a town in Ekiti State.
I wonder how the police is going to handle this case. Strange indeed!

Post baby body: Kate Middleton vs Kim Kardashian

Posted: 26 Jul 2013 03:26 AM PDT

The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton did something most women in the limelight don't usually do. She appeared in public just a day after giving birth and showed off her post childbirth body...with a bump still visible for the world to see, unlike many celebrity women who hide after giving birth and appear a few weeks later with a flat stomach, looking fit and flawless.

Star magazine claims the pic on their cover is the first photo of Kim K since she gave birth on June 15th. (Not sure I believe it though) But Kim hasn't made a public appearance since welcoming baby North and many believe she wants to shed the baby weight and look perfect again before appearing in public.

Kate has shown the world what most women look like after giving birth, a more realistic image of a post baby body...and not the lightning-speed weight loss most Hollywood celebs experience after child birth.

A doctor explains why Kate still looked pregnant after giving birth. See that after the cut..

"Seeing Kate leaving the hospital as though she is almost six months pregnant is not unusual," said Dr. Douglas M. Black, an obstetrics and gynecological specialist in Ottawa and past president of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada.
"A woman will generally gain about 16 kilograms during her pregnancy and will lose about seven kg during birth. However, the uterus has grown and stretched. It takes about three to four weeks for it to return to its pre pregnancy shape and size, This is what makes a woman look as though she is still pregnant after giving birth."

Amaechi: I Don't Need Jonathan's Consent To Contest Election

Posted: 26 Jul 2013 03:19 AM PDT

Governor Rotimi Amaechi , has said nobody can stampede him out of the PDP, insisting that he he did not have to seek President Goodluck Jonathan's consent or that of any other man, anywhere, about his ambition before contesting any public office.
Let's even assume, for the purpose of argument, that an ambition exists, nobody has the right to bring down a state just because an ambition exists?" Amaechi wondered.
The governor, who said he had yet to declare his ambition to contest the Vice-Presidency in PDP, spoke in an interview on BBC, Hard Talk, on Thursday.

He said, "You see what you must know is that I believe in the rule of law.... It is important to say clearly that everybody should allow 2015 for 2015; it is a bit too early. The President is elected to preside as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and I support that and I want everybody to allow Mr. President to preside over the country for the interest of the country."

According to Amaechi, there are people around Jonathan, who abuse and compromise power.

He added, "When the Financial Times reporter interviewed me in Port-Harcourt, I did make that clear. That was the day hoodlums were hired to stone some northern governors, who visited me to show solidarity."

On the crisis rocking Nigeria Governors' Forum, Amaechi said he won his election against Governor Jonah Jang, who many believed had the backing of the presidency against him.

Asked why he did not tell Jonathan about his intention to contest, he said:
"Nobody told me not to run. I challenge anybody. There is no law that requires me to tell anyone that I was going to run. That is the freedom we are looking for in the Nigerian Governors Forum.
"I didn't need to go to Mr. President to tell him that 'Mr. President, I want to run for the office of chairman of the Nigeria's Governors Forum'. I didn't have to do that and I didn't do that. And he, in turn, did not tell me 'don't run, I heard you are going to run'.
"So, I ran, and I didn't see the President on the ballot, the person I saw on the ballot was Jonah Jang. The result was clear that 19 governors voted for me. He didn't object to the fact that I won."

On the demand by Minister of State for Education, Nyesom Wike, that he should leave PDP, Amaechi said:
"He (Wike) doesn't have the right to tell me where I should belong to whether I want to belong to the PDP or not. He doesn't have that right. We have all been in PDP.

"Let's assume that I remain in the PDP. Let's assume that I am running for the office of the vice president, would my leaving PDP not enhance that assumption?

"The reason for remaining in PDP is because nobody can chase me out of PDP. I am a member of PDP and I love to be a member of PDP. We must allow 2015 to remain for 2015!"

You're A Cheap Adulterous Lady; Fans Blast Stella Damasus

Posted: 26 Jul 2013 02:43 AM PDT

Many are of the opinion that actress Stella Damasus is trying to get back her credibility through the back door with her outburst on ChildNotBride campaign. Some fans even went as far as calling her an adulterous lady who's sleeping with another woman's husband and not different from Senator Yerima.

Below is what Olokunbolablessing.blogspot.Com scooped from the bashing of Stella Damasus:

Apart from the tweets, one of her fans even went as far as sending her this strong message...

[Dear Stella] "I saw your VIDEO on girl child marriage, well, I don't think you shot the video because of the purpose we are all fighting for," the fan said.

He continues, "But you shot the video because of cheap publicity, going all the way to produce a video, talking and spitting saliva on the screen.

Responsible citizen like, Abudu(EbonyTV), Hon. Abike Dabiri, Wole Soyinka etc didn't go all the way to insult the first Lady but they are wise people who let out their opinion without abusing the office of the first Lady. Must you go all the way to show your adulterous face on the screen?

Other reasonable citizens tweets via (Twitter), Comments on Facebook and even send press release. If you need an interview to talk on girl child marriage, walk majestically to any media house, but not you, Stella.

Remember, Reuben Abati, when he was still an Editor in one of the National Newspapers, he did the same to Dame patience Jonathan in 2010, he figured out all the mistakes First lady made. Now, he is the Special Adviser to the president on Media and Publicity.

And now you Stella, you wanted to be SA to the governor of your state and recognition from Aso Rock.

You are not different from Senator Yerima because you are a cheap woman that sleeps with another woman's husband. Keeping the man in your territory. I will support women in all ramifications.

You've lost your heart and conscience when Aboderin died. God will Judge you in anger one day," he concluded.

This Woman Impersonates Fashola's Wife; Dupes Government

Posted: 26 Jul 2013 02:33 AM PDT

Mrs. Asogbon Abosede, a 53-year-old primary school teacher, has been arraigned at the Ikeja Magistrate's Court for allegedly impersonating the wives of Lagos and Osun states governors and defrauding officials of the Lagos State Government.

Abosede, a Grade 10 teacher, was said to have committed the crime between June and July 2013 through text messages in which she claimed to be Mrs. Abimbola Fashola and Mrs. Sherifat Aregbesola.

The accused allegedly influenced her redeployment from a primary school in Alimosho area of the state to the Lagos State Basic Education Board by sending text messages to the Chairman of SUBEB, presenting herself as Fashola and later as Aregbesola.

The request was said to have been granted as she was redeployed soon afterwards.

The police also said among the sins of the accused was that she sent more text messages to the Chairman of Agbado/Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area, and the Education Secretary of Alimosho, as Fashola, demanding Ramadan gifts.

The LCDA chairman, in response to the SMS, was said to have sent N100,000, while Education Secretary, sent three BlackBerry phones valued at N105,000.

The charges further stated that Mrs Abosede also impersonated Aresgbesola's younger sister and misinformed another woman that Aregbesola was involved in a road accident.

The offence is punishable under Section 96(a) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State Nigeria, 2011.

The bold woman pleaded not guilty to the ten counts. Her counsel, Mr. Gbolahan Samuel, urged the court to discountenance the content of the charges because it was a waterless paper tiger. The lawyer prayed the court to grant the accused bail in liberal terms.

The prosecutor, Mr. Babatunde Sunmonu, however objected to it.
The Magistrate, Mrs. E. Fabanwo, observed that the charges were grievous, saying each of them could attract three to 15 years jail term.

Fabanwo admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N250,000 with two sureties, who must deposit N1m each, while one of them must have landed property in Lagos State with a government approved Certificate of Occupancy.

The matter was thus adjourned till September 2, 2013, for trial.

Senate Indicts Jonathan and Wife In Rivers Crisis; Warns Them Against Impunity

Posted: 26 Jul 2013 02:28 AM PDT

The crisis at Rivers State House of Assembly was the expression of deep-rooted political crisis occasioned by the future ambition of Governor Rotimi Amaechi and the undue interference with the political and security structure of the state by President Goodluck Jonathan, his wife Patience and the national hierarchy of PDP, a Senate report disclosed on Thursday.

Consequently, Senate President David warned that:
"The Nation Assembly will uphold and defend the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as we all individually swore to do. And this we will do at all times and at all cost. Let me leave no one in doubt that the impunities of the past remain in the past. And the past is gone for good."
The Senate also called on the Inspector-General of police to "immediately" redeploy the Commissioner of Police in Rivers State, Joseph Mbu, because:

"His relationship with the governor has broken down irretrievably".

Olokunbolablessing.blogspot.Com gathered that CP Mbu has been fingered severally by stakeholders as a hatchet man of the Presidency in the lingering crisis in Rivers State.

"Mbu has refused to cooperate with the governor, Chibuike Amaechi, on matters of security even though the governor is the chief security officer of the state," the Senate report stated.

The Senator Kabiru Gaya-led Senate Committee has also concurred with the resolutions of  House of Reps and resolved to take over legislative functions of the Rivers State House of Assembly.
As it stands now, Amaechi's camp is winning but the "Ogas at the top" will not give up easy.
