Not in my life will I return to Prophet Ajanaku's church in Jesus name - Evang. Tope Alabi Posted: 18 Jul 2013 11:15 AM PDT It is very difficult not to like Tope Alabi. This is because the ebullient songstress' voice seems to be everywhere you turn. From loudspeakers blaring at record shops and street corners to Yoruba films, it seems Tope is everywhere trying to teach one moral lesson or the other. Highly sought after, her calendar is usually booked year round, and even still, many more wait on the queue patiently for the time she'll be available. Based on the interview we granted her estranged spiritual father, Prophet Ajanaku, in which he made some remarks about her, we sought to hear her side of the story. Ever since the story of a rift between them broke out, Tope Alabi has not spoken publicly concerning the matter. But in this exclusive interview with E24-7 MAGAZINE'S EDITOR-IN-CHIEF, BIODUN KUPOLUYI, she bared her mind. Enjoy: There is this disturbing news going around that you have deserted Prophet Ajanaku's church and left him unceremoniously even though he has done a lot for you? You see, if not that it's you, I won't talk about this. The truth about the issue is that, since four years ago, God has been revealing some things to me about the church and even people have been leaving his church en-masse for the past seven years because different strange things have been happening. We have actually seen a lot of things. When I first met him, that year something happened, but because I liked him and was willing to help him, I stayed. I know how I met the ministry then and how it is today. I have made a name then but it was in 2006 that people started hearing his name in my records though he said that he has been my spiritual head for the past twelve years. He says a lot when he is on the altar and he even embellishes the story, but I just look at him without saying anything. You mean he has not been mentoring you for the past twelve years? It's not up to twelve years at all! I used to attend the Mountain of Fire Church, but I also visit his church once in a while and minister for free so as to attract more members to the church. My husband and I have made all our contributions to the church. Even all the concerts that have been organised in the church and the last one, it was my husband that organised it. We've been involved in bringing so many big artistes to the church. But what really pains us is that, this is a man who likes to fumble and make too much noise about himself as if he is God. He always tell the congregation that he's next to God; that he sees God everyday and that he talks to God anytime he likes. You know words like that. And if not that I really respect E24-7 MAGAZINE and like to read it often, I wouldn't have said anything about the issue because I have promised myself and my God that. Some other media houses have tried to reach me before to know my side of the story but I kept mum and never said anything to them. Some of them cajoled me to talk, saying that I ought to respond because of all the things the prophet has said about me. But since I refused to talk on the issue, they went ahead with what they heard from him. You see, one thing I know is that when God's judgment has come to prevail in any matter, it will be in the presence of everyone. I don't want to talk now and it may seem like I'm being vindictive because people may say that, after all we were together before, and why am I just talking now? But when God reveals the secret, everyone will see what is actually happening. My new songs Agbelebu and Alagbara that I have just released; he was saying he is the one I used the album to abuse publicly but I was still in his church when I recorded the songs. He said it was because I left his church that my car was stolen. Meanwhile, my car was stolen on the 25th of December and I left his church on 1st of January so what is he talking about? Less than two years after I met him, there was a day he came to my house. Not long after he left on that day, thieves came to rob me and carted away all my belongings, but I didn't speak to anybody about it then. I believe God knows us all and knows what our thoughts are. Whoever is lying, God knows. And if truly, he was called by God, it's known to God. The time I ought to spend to better my life, I used them to serve him because I believed that I was doing it for God. He said he's the one that composed your hit songs for you? I thank God I got my inspirations from God even before we came in contact, and I never went to him for songs. If truly, he is the one that composes all my songs, then why will he say that Agbelebu and Alagbara hurt him and are very painful for him to listen to? I have said it severally that if it was after I knew him that things changed for good for me, or that he was the one that gave me my shine and glory, then let's leave everything to God because the almighty God is there and never dozes. If you like sir, interview him and let's hear what he's got to say again but that doesn't change anything. He has said so many things to the media; I read it when he said it was because I committed adultery that he sent me away from his church, and in another magazine he said it's because I spent the offering money. Another report said I left his church because he organised a concert and I wasn't there. When your husband heard or read the adultery story, did he complain? My brother, you see me, see the mess o. Let's just wait and watch. God knows about everything, but for us, we do not have anything to say. We don't want it to seem like it was when we left his church that things scattered in the church. He can't be behaving childish and then we also join him in his childish ways. We won't trade words with him. Leaving one church to another shouldn't be a big deal. But he said he will welcome you back to the church if you wish to return, that he didn't send you away? Not in my life will I return to that church in Jesus name. I made the mistake of my life by attending that church before, and now that I have left, I can never go back again. I tell you, when people heard that I have left his church, they were just congratulating me. Well known men of God have called me on this issue we are discussing my brother, they really congratulated me for leaving the church. Some even confessed that whenever I came to minister in their churches, the spirit of God directs them to me on the matter, but they did not know how to broach it with me because of the love I had for his ministry. During my stay with him, he never showed me anything other than prayers and fasting that we believed in. He never showed anything fetish to me so I wouldn't know if he's got any secret. And you really projected him and the church especially in your songs? I tried my best and did what I ought to do. Even if it happened that I committed adultery as he claimed, and that was why he sent me away from his church, why should he go to the press to nag and rubbish me, not minding all that I have done for him in my life. If I was broke but he needed money, I would suppress my own needs and see to his own without thinking twice. But he said you've never helped him financially before? Ahh! But I tell you, I cared and catered for him and his family. Even all the rich men I knew and introduced to him turned their backs on me. It was when all these issues came out in the open that they started calling me back and some of them told me a lot of what he told them about me, tarnishing and rubbishing my image, but I told them to leave everything to God to judge. You've decided not to talk, but there are many insinuations and they are damaging? He didn't damage anything my brother; since everything belongs to God, he didn't damage anything. IF A LIE TRAVELS FOR 20YEARS, TRUTH WILL CATCH UP WITH IT ONE DAY - SOJI ALABI E24-7 MAGAZINE also spoke to Soji Alabi, Tope's husband and producer. Read on: What do you have to say about these allegations against your family by Prophet Ajanaku? Sir, is there any big deal that someone leaves a church for another? But since Tope left his church, it's as though he's doomed and it's not supposed to be like that. Everyone has got his or her own ministry and Tope Alabi has got hers too. I believe anyone that is called by God should face his ministry squarely without looking up to humans, but God. People go to churches to serve God, and not because of any artiste. We left him because of our own ministry, and I think if truly, he has got God's calling then he shouldn't be shouting Tope Alabi's name to the world claiming she left his church unceremoniously and stuffs like that. God doesn't fail his own people, so I believe truly if he was called by God, it is God also that will stand by him without fear or expecting any favor from man. Since January 1st, 2013, that Tope Alabi left his church, he hasn't stopped saying it to the world, an action which I count to be joblessness. Since the news has been going round, we just decided that we won't talk to any media about it. The Yorubas say, if a lie travels for 20 years, one day the truth will surface and the world will see it for what it is. We've done what we can for his ministry and if he doesn't appreciate everything we've done, then its fine and okay, but we've done ours for God. But he said you took that decision because he has raised another artiste? How can Tope Alabi be jealous of an artiste who nobody even knows yet? Everybody has his or her own time to shine, and they all differ in glory. At this stage of her fame and career, Tope Alabi cannot obstruct anybody from shining. He said you don't allow other artistes come to the church? It's a lie! We've taken many artistes to him like Biyi Samuel, Paul Play Dairo and others. And do we even disturb any artiste not to make it? In our own little capacity, we've helped many artistes. I even have many artistes under my record label and sometimes, Tope sings part of the songs in their albums so that they can be popular. As for me, I feel all those magazines have collected money from him to write all those negative things about us and I believe one day, their eyes will open and they will see the truth. We've done many things for the church; we served that ministry with our lives. If not that it's you, we have decided not to talk to any press man at all. I'm sure that all those journalists writing trash about my wife have collected money from him, but I'm consoled by the fact that their eyes will be opened to the truth soon. So which church do you attend now because people will want to follow you? We are yet to be members of any particular church, but we are always busy ministering from one church to another. We left his church to face our own ministry and not because he raised another artiste. Nothing like that! We are not fighting him, because one should not fight Ministers of God. |

A source say the teacher was giving the beating of his life by the son and his friends, as the shameless woman escaped, leaving her panties on the bamboo bench. What a shame! Glo turns subscribers to landlords with Phonelord Posted: 18 Jul 2013 10:40 AM PDT The company said from now on it would pay its subscribers rents for using their phones to provide shelter for their Glo SIMs just like tenants pay rents to landlords. Launching the product in Lagos on Wednesday, July 10, Globacom's Coordinator Marketing, Mr. Adeniyi Olukoya, said the company was the first telecoms network in Nigeria to reward subscribers for accommodating its SIM in their handsets. Continue... He explained that the rental fee would be credited to the subscriber's phone daily once it was confirmed that a subscriber used at least N50 worth of talk time the previous day. "Cumulatively, a loyal subscriber could get up to N1,500 in a month as rental bonus from Glo," he added. According to him, the N50 rental bonus must be utilised for calls or SMS within the Glo network from 12 midnight until 9 a.m., adding that the benefit was opened to all existing and new prepaid Glo customers as well as subscribers on other networks interested in becoming "phonelords". He encouraged subscribers who were yet to join the Glo happy family to do so without further delay, "so as to enjoy Globacom's array of innovative and pocket-friendly products and services". "This is another way Globacom gives back to its customers who have remained loyal to it in the last 10 years," Olukoya stated. He said that subscribers wishing to enjoy the benefit should dial *170*7# and press the send key. |
Is the new Nigerian law promoting paedophilia? Posted: 18 Jul 2013 10:29 AM PDT Here's how it happened. The Nigerian senate on Tuesday July 16th pegged the official marriage age in Nigeria as 18 years when they amended the constitution. Then Former Zamfara Governor, now Senator, Sani Yerima, who married a 13 year old Egyptian girl in 2010, opposed the age restrictions saying it was anti-islam. For some reason the Senate agreed with him and made an about turn. The Senate has now deleted the age specification from the new constitution, leaving marriage age for women open. They stated that 'a woman is deemed to be "full of age" once she is married irrespective of the age she did so.' So basically, this new law allows the marriage of under aged girls. What's your thoughts on this? |

True Confession...Patience Jonathan Traces The Genesis Of The Rivers State Crisis Posted: 18 Jul 2013 10:21 AM PDT Contrary to her earlier denials of involvement in the political crisis rocking Rivers State, wife of President Goodluck Jonathan, Patience, on Wednesday opened up on the matter. She told 16 bishops from the South-South, who visited her at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, that her misunderstanding with Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, started about four years ago in Anyugubiri in Okrika when she appealed to him to engage her people in dialogue instead of demolishing a part of their community. Mrs. Jonathan said the governor, whom she described as "hot tempered," did not only ignore her advice, he went a step further by sacking the chairman of the local government for holding a reception in her honour. According to her, Amaechi did not only stop at those, he imposed a curfew on the community, which is where she hails from She said all her pleas with the governor to lift the curfew fell on deaf ears. Although the President's wife told the visiting bishops that she had since committed the Rivers crisis to God, she decided to open up for the first time on it so that they could pray to God to touch Amaechi's heart. She said, "Rivers State issue is one thing I have committed to prayer because I believe there is nothing God cannot do. God restored me and I will do His work without the fear of man. The truth will always remain the truth and what God ordains must come to pass and so Rivers issue is something we have handed over to God. "This matter started four years ago at Anyugubiri in Okrika when I begged him not to demolish a part of Okrika but that he should dialogue first with the people. After that incident, he called the chairman of Okrika Local Government and sacked him for holding a reception in our honour; that boy was the first victim. "He also put my people under curfew for nine months. I called him and pleaded with him but he refused. Then I began to hear all sorts of propaganda in the media against me; this is not the way. "I have never spoken about this issue but as men of God, I believe you will say the truth always because there are a lot of conflicting interests; some will hear one thing and say the exact opposite. "I also want you to know the genesis of this problem and pray that God touches Amaechi's heart as per his hot temper because when two elephants fight, it is the grass that suffers.'' Mrs. Jonathan urged the governor to sheathe the sword and allow peace to reign in the state. She said as her son, she could not be fighting the governor. She also urged the governor to avoid being used by outsiders to fight "his own blood." She added, "I appeal to Amaechi to sheathe his sword so that we can defend our state and this country with love, unity, patriotism and truth at all time. "Hebrews 12:14 urges us to embrace peace with all men without which, we cannot see God. Amaechi is my son, I cannot fight him and I cannot kill him. He shouldn't be used by outsiders against his own blood because this seat is vanity. "One day, no matter how long it takes, we will leave this seat. Power is not forever. This seat is vanity, others sat here and left, so one day I will also leave and we will meet at home; so why should I fight him? "Let's take it easy and face issues. Let's stop magnifying lies; we must respect our leaders and people in authority. Let's give peace a chance." Earlier, the leader of the delegation, Bishop God-Do-Well Awomapara, said they decided to visit the wife of the President to unravel the mysteries surrounding the crisis in the state and mediate in order to find a lasting solution to it. "Our visit is significant in view of emerging situations in our region. We are on a quest to unravel the mysteries surrounding the Rivers issue and mediate where necessary," he said. Mrs. Jonathan's spokesman, Mr. Ayo Osinlu, later issued a statement in which she again called on all those involved in the crisis to sheathe their swords and find ways to restore peace to the state. The statement reads in part, "Dame Jonathan particularly appealed to Governor Amaechi to fly the olive branch, and resist being used by outsiders against his own people. "While giving an insight into the genesis of the crisis in the state, she reiterated the need for the warring factions to employ dialogue as a means of resolving the contending issues amicably. "The First Lady urged those who are crying more than the bereaved to stop magnifying the misunderstanding, while reiterating that Governor Amaechi and Mr. Nyeson Wike (Minister of State for Education) remain her sons, brothers and kinsmen, and would do anything to protect both of them. Reacting, the State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Mrs. Ibim Semenitari, said the governor did not demolish the houses around a school in Angubiri, Okirika, as advised by Mrs. Jonathan. Semenitari, who recalled what happened in Okirika when the President's wife visited, said the school shown to Mrs. Jonathan by the governor had no playground, adding that a playground and other facilities could only be provided if some houses around the school were demolished. "The First Lady advised against it and the governor did not demolish the houses. The school is still there without a playground. This issue happened a long time ago. What I don't understand is that she still bears that in mind," the commissioner added. On the allegation that Amaechi imposed a nine-month curfew on the people of Okrika, Semenitari disagreed with Mrs. Jonathan, saying, "Even the First Lady had said several times that one of the achievements of the governor was that he (Amaechi) brought peace to Okrika and that people could sleep with both eyes closed." On her description of Amaechi as hot-tempered, the commissioner pointed out that she could not say anything about it since it was the President's wife's personal opinion. Semenitari, however, expressed satisfaction with Mrs. Jonathan's warning to those using her name to forment trouble to desist from such act. "What I think is good to hear is that she has no problem with the governor (Amaechi) and that those using her name to cause crisis will stop doing so," the commissioner stressed. "She expressed her commitment to ensuring that peace returns to Rivers State soon, stating that as the President of African First Ladies Peace Mission, her desire is to have peace in her home base." Also, the state government has raised the alarm over a strange posting of policemen on Wednesday to the Government House in Port Harcourt and the Governor's Lodge in Asokoro, Abuja. Secretary to the State Government, Mr. George Feyii, in a statement, said the postings were done without notification. He claimed that security operatives, whose identities were unknown, said they got a directive to remain at the gate of the governor's lodge. Feyii explained that it was aware that an official of a state, especially the governor, had the right to choose the security personnel he could entrust his safety. The statement reads, "The Rivers State Government notes with distress, what is now an apparent attack on the person of Governor Amaechi. This (Wednesday) morning, two policemen, one of who is Inspector Bawa, reported to the Rivers State Governor's Lodge at Justice Mohammed Bello Street, Asokoro, FCT Abuja. "They claimed to have been posted by Nigeria Police Force Headquarters to monitor the Rivers State Governor's Lodge. Earlier, four intelligence officers had been posted to the Government House in Port Harcourt by the Rivers State Police Command. "These postings were done without any notification or deference to Governor Amaechi. We are aware that on issues of personal safety, an official reserves the right to pick the security personnel to whom he or she may entrust their safety. This is more so in the case of a state governor. "The policemen this (Wednesday) morning said that they had directives to remain at the gate of the Rivers State Governor's lodge. Not only is the Rivers State Government uncertain of the true identity of these gentlemen, we are worried as to the true intent behind this latest posting." He recalled that events around the governor in recent times had been suggestive of deliberate nonchalance, adding that the situation had continued even with an appeal to the highest authorities. "In recent times, events in Rivers State and especially around Governor Amaechi have been suggestive of deliberate nonchalance at best and complicity at worst in the security breaches that have occurred. This trend has continued despite a passionate appeal to the highest levels of authorities. We are worried that we can no longer guarantee the safety of Governor Amaechi and wish to reiterate our call on all relevant authorities to ensure his safety and the peace and security of everyone in Rivers State," the statement added. *Abuse of power.........hisss* *Na my peshee speak all these big grammar?* |

Mistakes That Haunt Forever.... Posted: 18 Jul 2013 10:04 AM PDT Hi Blessing I wanted to share this with other people who visit your wonderful blog.... There are certain things in life were you know it's a mistake, but you don't really know it's a mistake because the only way to know is to make the mistake and look back and say: "yes that was a mistake". We all make mistakes,at least that's what everyone says but there are some mistakes we make that the lessons are painful I mean REALLY painful. In my family today we are equally facing a very mean and heart- breaking consequence because of a mistake so "tiny" (that's what we think &say to ourselves) but of course even the bible assures us of the principle of "reaping" and "sowing".... I believe it can also be applied to the doctrine of mistakes. I must say that I know "unavoidable" mistakes do exist but those ones come with mild lessons(65%) . I urge you to always commit your decisions and actions generally into the hands of GOD so our lessons can at least be mild because the bigger mistake is to not make the mistake, because then we go on being in a harsh state of confusion *trying to decide if its a mistake or not* . Thanks for sparing three minutes. With love. xoxoxo |

This Devil Raped A 9yr Old Girl To Death!!! Posted: 18 Jul 2013 09:36 AM PDT A 20-year-old man, Chijioke Nwakor, from Aniocha Local Government Area of Anambra State is now in Police custody for allegedly raping a nine-year-old girl to death. The suspect who is currently detained at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), state Police headquarters, Diamond Hill, Calabar is alleged to have engaged Miss Alice Eneji in a marathon love making which resulted in the girl's death. Chijioke told the officer heading the homicide unit of the state CID, Mr. Joseph Inuyashe, that he was born in Aniocha Local Government Area, but grew up in Onistha, Anambra until recently when he relocated to Okuku-Yala Local Government in Cross River State where he is living with his parents. He said since he came to Cross River State, he had abstained from women, regretting that his first attempt to make love to a girl of his desire has resulted in tragedy. He said: "I used to see the girl everyday in Okuku-Yala, where I stay with my parents. I don't know what pushed me last Monday to approach her. "As I saw her playing with the three boys at Saint Patrick's Primary School, Okuku football field, I called her and asked what she was doing there. I told her to go home and meet her mother." The advice took an amorous dimension as it started drizzling and Chijioke and Alice had to take shelter under one of the school buildings. It was then he said: "I discussed with her and she accepted so I took her to one of the abandoned buildings that has been overtaken by weeds, where I told her to remove her underwears and she complied." Claiming there was mutual agreement between them, the boy dismissed allegation that he raped her, saying: "I did not slap her or do anything to her. "I told her to bend down because the place was too dirty. The uncompleted building is now used as a toilet, because most people living around there had no toilet." Chijioke said he then went for marathon love-making but Alice started crying but he thought she was pretending. Few minutes later, Alice slumped and became unconscious and he decided to raise alarm calling for help. Alice was rushed to hospital while Chijioke went round the community sourcing for money to foot the hospital bill. "I was still looking for money when somebody called me that the girl was dead," he said. When contacted, acting Police Public Relations Officer of the Command, Mr. Hogan Bassey confirmed the incident, saying the culprit is in custody and that they were investigating the immediate and remote cause of such a criminal act. According to him, Chijioke will be charged to Court. source vanguardonline *Jesus!!....what is going on?I am just soooo angry....may she RIP.what a pity! |
“I Served Fake Divorce Papers” - Doris Simon's Husband, Daniel Admits Posted: 18 Jul 2013 08:54 AM PDT The crisis rocking the embattled marriage of star actress, Doris Simon and estranged hubby, Daniel Ademinokan is taking a more interesting dimension in the court of law. Daniel, who has since eloped with Widow's star actress, Stella Damasus, alongside their only son, David, recently sent a certificate of divorce to Simon. But probing Simon and her lawyer, Barrister Bosun Osifowora found a grey area in the certificate. It was a fake divorce certificate. In a swift reaction, Doris' lawyer filed a petition and the matter has since gone to court. His claim now contrary to his earlier position has changed. Daniel, currently in America, may have pressed a self-destruct button- he has admitted through his lawyers that he presented to Doris a fake divorce certificate. Doris lawyer, Barrister Osifowora spoke to a Ọmọ Oódua source. What is the update on Doris and Daniel`s matter? Not thing much happened in the court actually. They filed a reply to the petition and the lawyer served us but it has been adjourned to October 20th I believe. This is because the courts are going on vacation and will be back in September. But he admitted to serving that thing on Doris. He now claimed that he went to court, he saw a lawyer but didn't know the guy wasn`t a real lawyer. That it was the lawyer that told him not to come, that he would get him his divorce. That it was the lawyer that gave him the thing but I thought that was a foolish admission on their part. But we decided to be silent. So he had admitted to it that he did it unknowingly. I don't know how he wants to plead ignorance. That is basically what he said. So what we are looking to do now by that October is possibly plead -joint but we haven't done that. We are working on it. We will serve them very soon. We will join Stella Damasus as a co-defendant. That is what we want to do because this is becoming more real than yesterday. This is because they lived together. Initially we thought about it but we don't want to base whatever we do on speculation. Is that why you waited this long? Yes. So that is it. But we will serve them and we will avail you a copy. We will join her as a co respondent. Is Daniel with that admittance pleading for out of court settlement on the divorce paper issue? No he is not. He is not pleading for out of court settlement. He has just admitted to serving that fake document on her (Doris). That it was a lawyer he got that did it, that the lawyer didn't know what he was doing or that the lawyer was a fake? But that is their admission anyway. He foolishly admitted it. I would not do that as a lawyer. What about the custody of the son? Another thing he did was to ask for the custody of their only son, (David) be given to him even though he ran away with him; he claimed he didn't run away with him. That Doris wasn't taking good care of the boy. That it was the reason he took the boy away. That obviously is a lie. That he is trying to enroll the boy in a school in America without the consent of the mother. So we are going to discredit him based on the fact if he could take a child from the mother under pretence and also served a fake court judgment with the signature of a judge and everything, that the child cannot be trusted with him. That made him criminally liable and somebody of such a character cannot train a child. Also he left his home and did not properly divorce but co-habiting with another woman, and he is not even the one providing for his daily living over there, then it doesn't show that he is a credible a person. |

Does Marriage Turns A Girl Child Into A Woman? Senate Okays Marriage for Underage Children. Posted: 18 Jul 2013 06:07 AM PDT It's heartbreaking when some Nigerians and Nigeria lawmakers use religion as a means to justify some of their acts. My heart bleeds to hear a lawmaker justify paedophile with religion. This is pure child abuse and i hope well meaning Nigerians wouldn't fold their hands and let this happen. Nigeria is sliding further into abyss of abnormality and Children shouldn't be made to suffer for it. Marriage to a 12-years-old child is a child abuse and whoever does it is a paedophile and should be jailed for it. The Senate of Federal republic of Nigeria has approved the marriage of under-aged children irrespective of their age in the country. This new law will proscribe the 18 year-old rule for any Nigerian child to qualify to engaged into a conscious agreement of marriage. The Senates claimed that a woman is deemed to be full of age once she is married irrespective of her age. The Proponents or supporters of the under-age marriage rule includes Senator Yerima Ahmad Sani, Zamfara West, who claimed that the provision which stipulates a certain age for women before getting married, was at variance with Islamic law. After a moment of controversy, Senate President David Mark asked his colleagues to vote afresh on the provision, a situation that eventually went in favour of Sani, who, thereafter, thanked the Senate president and his colleagues for supporting his cause. It is worthy of note that Senator Yerima Ahmad Sani had two years ago married a 13-year-old Egyptian in violation of the constitutional provision. |
It's Fine With Me Even If I Get Married At 58- Uche Ogbodo Posted: 18 Jul 2013 06:04 AM PDT Here is what Uche told a reporter in an interview he had with her on marriage and finding a man. 'I want to be married someday. I am looking upon God for that. There is no rush in marriage; if you rush in, you rush out. And I do not even want to rush out of my future marriage'. But are you not getting too old to remain single? Age. There is nothing like age in marriage. Maturity is what counts. It is fine with me. Even if I got married at 58, fine. |

How to undress for your husband: Step-by-step guide to stripping in the bedroom Posted: 18 Jul 2013 03:52 AM PDT These images, published originally in LIFE Magazine in 1937 and again on LIFE.com this week, illustrate step-by-step how a wife should - and should not - undress for her husband. Using burlesque dancers as models, Allen Gilbert, who was promoting his new Manhattan School of Undressing at the time, gave readers a few pointers and lamented in the article that wives with a faulty 'disrobing methodology' were largely responsible for ballooning divorce rate. (Daily Mail UK) Gilbert said in the February 17 issue that at his undressing school wives, anxious to improve their marital manners, would learn 'the correct way' to take off their clothes. From these they will learn how to make going to bed appear a thing of charm and pleasure rather than a routine chore,' Gilbert said in the articleWhat does it matter how women take their clothes off as long as they take it off, right fellas? Funke Akindele Says My Marriage Is Intact, I'm Going to Court Posted: 18 Jul 2013 03:11 AM PDT Star actress Funke Akindele has finally broke her silence on her alleged failed marriage saga and she said she is heading to go to court to clear her name and the issues... The news of her troubled marriage was first reported by The Nation, so Funke Akindele has forwarded an sms message to the media house. The message reads: "I read in the newspaper yesterday that I am divorced. What proof do you have? And I am taking this to court because my marriage is intact. You guys are rumour mongers. Funke Akindele Oloyede." It was reported on Tuesday that the actress may have been separated from her husband, Kehinde Oloyede, son of former Iyaloja of Oshodi market. This is after Kehinde Oloyede himself announced a "separation" via his facebook page on Monday. He said: "It is with heavy heart that I am announcing the separation of me and my wife, Mrs Olufunke Akindele. We have both agreed to go our separate ways because of irreconcilable differences. We are still best of friends and we would forever remain good friends."The statement, which the actress' husband has since deleted from his facebook wall, generated concerns among the star's fans, who made the issue a major topic on the social media. Attempts to reach Funke on Monday failed. Her elder sister, who doubles as her spokesperson, Mrs Ayo-Ola Muhammed, failed to make an official statement she promised when contacted because, according to reports, the actress asked that no statement be made on the issue. From what Olokunbolablessing.blogspot.Com gathered, Funke Akindele's husband may have deleted the "separation" post on his facebook page, due to pressure from friends and family members. She is said to have been crying since the incident, fearing criticisms by her fans and her clients' reactions. Funke Akindele, actor and producer and ambassador of several brands, including telecommunications giant, Globacom, got married to Oloyede 14 months ago in a grand ceremony held in Lagos. Funke's decision to marry the real estate business man, was severely criticised by many who wondered why she should get involved with a man that is already married, with children and "different woman". |
