Love Has Never Been Fair To Me- Seyi Shay Speaks on Love

Posted: 21 Aug 2013 11:13 AM PDT

''Love has never been fair to me; love is never going to be fair. It's even worse as a musician because in the Nigerian tradition, it is not seen as a conventional or respectable thing to be a musician. Everybody expects you to be seen and not heard. But when you are in the public eye like this, it is not easy to find true love''.

This is for those people that are finding it difficult to read the blog due to the background. It should be showing white and wine and not wine and black, so clear your cache and re-type www.ladunliadi.blogspot.com and that sorts it.

Weaves Are For People With Low Self-Esteem... Pastor Tells Congregation In Texas

Posted: 21 Aug 2013 11:13 AM PDT

A pastor in Texas who is planning to ban his members from wearing weaves to church has said it is meant for women with low self-esteem. Here is what he told AmericanPreachers.com when he was interviewed;

"Our black women are getting weaves trying to be something and someone they are not. Be real with yourself is all I'm saying. Long hair don't care. What kind of mess is that? I don't want my members so focused on what's on their heads and not IN their heads. I lead a church where our members are struggling financially. I mean really struggling. Yet, a 26 year old mother in my church has a $300 weave on her head. NO. I will not be quiet about this."

Do you agree with him?
