But after making international headlines, different people have been sending messages to his family on how they would love to help and also pay different bills. There is no cure for this yet, but some children get better with it as they grow older. Read the letter below.

Why I Need A New Wife Now ––Pastor Anselm Madubuko

Posted: 21 Aug 2013 10:50 AM PDT

One year after losing his wife, Apostle Anselm Madubuko of Revival Assembly Church is getting married to a 33-year-old Kenyan gospel singer, Emmy Kosgei. But people are beginning to ask questions, if one year is not too short for him to move on with another woman.

Pastor Anselm has a contrary opinion. See the reasons he give below:
"It is how I have chosen to do it. I have decided to move on. I found out that even 10 years will not be enough to forget my late wife. 20 years still will not be enough to forget my late wife. The time anybody remarries has nothing to do with your former partner. And that's one thing people fail to understand. We were married for many years and suddenly I was left alone. It's about many things, companionship.
"Once that person close to you goes, you can never forget the person. It is a matter of picking up one's pieces and moving on. I can't forget Connie, she was my life, it's just about moving on. I don't listen to people. If you re-marry or don't re-marry people must talk.
"I thought I wasn't going to re-marry but God said that is not his plans for me. He chose Emmy Kosgei for me. I chose to trust God more than my mind. I am looking forward to having more children," he told Encomium magazine.

Boobs Enlargement Goes Wrong; Girl Now Battling For Life

Posted: 21 Aug 2013 10:29 AM PDT

First of all, I wonder why a doctor would accept to operate on an 18-year-old girl's boobs all in the guise of giving her bigger boobs. Is she not too young for such "sophistication"? I really think this is crazy!

As a your read this, Linda Perez is now in coma after undergoing a breast augmentation procedure that was done by cosmetic medical practitioners with questionable credentials. And it seems Linda's mum was aware that her teenage daughter was going for boobs enlargement.

According to NBC 6, Linda was in surgery at the Coral Gables Cosmetic Center on Monday morning when something went wrong during the procedure. Speaking on her fate, her mum, Mariela Diaz said: "What they gave me was my daughter as a vegetable."

Linda who already has a 3-year-old child, is believed to have suffered brain damage in the process.

OPC Man Mistakenly Kills Popular Alhaji While Praising Him With Gun Salute

Posted: 21 Aug 2013 01:19 AM PDT

The Lagos State Police Command have commenced investigations into the murder of a 72-year-old man, Alhaji Abdulkareem Kadiru, in the Ijora Badia area of Lagos.

According to police, the victim was killed in error by an Oodua Peoples Congress member, Ismaila Rahmon, who was in charge of security at a school where a Ramadan event took place. Rahman allegedly killed the Alhaji with a gun he seized from an armed robber but failed to turn it over to the police.
It was gathered that Alhaji Kadiru was a generous man and because of his nature, touts usually surrounded him and sang his praises so that he would give them money.

Punch learnt that on August 4, 2013, Rahmon and another OPC member, identified simply as Obasanjo, had gone to provide security for the victim and other dignitaries at the event.

Rahmon was said to have opened fire in a bid to disperse the touts. It was learnt that after the hoodlums fled, the suspect started hailing Kadiru, shouting Tuale!! (a local slang to show respect).

He allegedly shot into the air again to salute the Alhaji. The bullet, however, killed Kadiru in error.

The 30-year-old OPC man said, "I sell shirts at Oluwole and I am also a part-time Yoruba movie actor. I have starred in three films but I do not get paid because I am an apprentice. In order to make ends meet, I joined the OPC and I earn N12,000 a month.

"On the day Alhaji was killed, Obasanjo and I went to a secondary school in the area to provide security for influential personalities who came there for Ramadan benevolence programme where they donated items to members of the community.

"When Alhaji arrived, I escorted his vehicle into the compound and touts stormed the school in order to extort money from him. I had been told that area boys would come so I came to the school with a gun. When I attempted to disperse the hoodlums and they refused to go, I shot into the air. I also attempted to give Tuale (salute) to Alhaji with another gunshot because I wanted him to give me money. It was in the process that the bullet hit him in his head."

The native of Kwara State said after Alhaji fell to the ground, area boys gathered and beat him up. The area boys would have lynched him if not for the timely intervention of policemen.

"The area boys beat me up and collected all the money on me which was about N20,000. They seized my phone, kicked me in the penis many times and inflicted wounds on my head. It was the police that saved me from death. The policemen that came arrested me and took me to their station," he said.

When asked if he was licensed and trained to use a weapon, the suspect said, "I was trained by OPC to use weapons. But I have never used a gun publicly before the incident. The gun did not belong to me; it belonged to an armed robber that I arrested some months ago."

The suspect, who claimed to be the breadwinner of his family, pleaded with the police to let him go as he did not kill the victim deliberately.

I'm Not Afraid Of Governor Lamido; Says President Jonathan

Posted: 21 Aug 2013 01:15 AM PDT

The Presidency on Tuesday said President Goodluck Jonathan is not afraid to contest the PDP's presidential ticket with Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State in 2015, as is been speculated.
"We have gone to Jigawa State. We have seen what he has done. Go to Jigawa State, you will see it yourself. Jigawa State is the only state you will go in this country and you will get tap water to drink. You don't need to go and buy pure water," said a group working for Lamido to defeat Jonathan in PDP.
But the Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Ahmed Gulak, stated in an interview with one of Punch's correspondents that the President is not afraid of the action governor.

He was commenting on the emergence of a group called National Forum for Lamido 2015, which urged the governor to contest against President Jonathan because of his exemplary performance.

The group also called on President Jonathan to honour an agreement he had with Northern governors that he would spend only one term. "Jonathan had an agreement with the PDP that he is going to spend only one term. He is a gentleman. He should abide by the agreement," the group said.

But the President Jonathan, through Gulak, said he doesn't like the way Lamido is going about his ambition.

How Tope Alabi's Pastor, Prophet Iretiola Ajanaku, Resurrects

Posted: 21 Aug 2013 01:15 AM PDT

When the story of his 'death' broke, Olokunbolablessing.blogspot.Com observed that many expressed shock that a man who was of such status would just die like that. Anyway, the confusion is still in the air.

The difference this time is that the confusion has turned into tension as the popular Lagos prophet returned to life while his body was being prepared for burial, to the surprise of those "working" on his body.

Olokunbolablessing.blogspot.Com gathered that Prophet Ajanaku suddenly woke up and shouted 'Thank You Jesus'. He was said to have relapsed into coma immediately (some are calling it spiritual slumber).

A doctor was called in to certify him death or otherwise and, upon examination, the doctor confirmed that he still has life in his body. Consequently, top members of his church are insisting that Prophet Ajanaku be left till weekend to see if he would eventually come out of the "coma".

His wife, Olokunbolablessing.blogspot.Com gathered, told sympathisers: "I knew daddy would come back to life again."
Will he eventually come back to life fully? What is happening to the prophet now? Fingers crossed!

I Need Money to Save My Wife's Life ––Arrested Man Cries Out

Posted: 21 Aug 2013 01:05 AM PDT

"As I speak with you, my wife is dying in the hospital back in Ondo state. She needs money for treatment. You see, I ventured into this all in a bid to save my wife. I am an orphan. I have been struggling to make ends meet without making any headway. I have five children but lost one recently because of lack of fund to provide medicare.
"And now, my wife is on danger list. If she dies, tell me, who will take care of the children? She was initially taken to the hospital but because there was no money to pay for the drugs.
"We had to bring her home to administer local herbs on her," said 20yrs old Owoye Ebiwe who was among 10 pipeline vandals paraded on Monday by operatives of the Special Task Force on Anti-Pipeline vandalism Unit.
Owoye Ebiwe from Ondo state and other suspects  were arrested at the verge of siphoning petroleum from a pipeline belonging to the NNPC located in Elekete area of Ogun State.

While other suspects freely opened up confessing their alleged involvement in the crime, Ebiwe was unusually calm. While that lasted, he bent down, scribbling what did not make sense on the wet ground.

When approached, he raised his head and behold, he was shedding tears. Asked why he was crying, he lamented the woes he claimed had befallen him and eventually led him into the unpalatable situation he found himself.

Owoye Ebiwe's story:
"In trying to suggest a possible solution, one of my relatives, asked me to come down to Lagos; that there was a business that would fetch me money to take care of my wife and family. Without asking what type of business, I borrowed some money and left Ondo on Sunday, for Lagos. When I met him, he just said I should follow him to the place and like an obedient servant, I did, until I found myself in the creeks.
"That was when he informed me that some people would soon come with boats and jerrycans; that all I needed to do was to wait by the shore and bring the jerrycans out of the boats. The place was like a market place because I saw other people waiting for their members too.

"That was when it dawned on me that it was vandal business. Honestly, I did not know it was a big offense. All I was told was that I would be given a reasonable amount at the end of the day. That my relative told me he had money to buy the products; that all I needed to do was to bring the jerrycans out of the canoes and also help to sell to ready buyers at the end of which payment would be determined on the quantity sold.

"I was there with him and Luke, waiting for the arrival of the boats when we were rounded up by the police. You can now see why I have been crying," he stated.
Unfortunately, Olokunbolablessing.blogspot.Com gathered that the Unit Commander, Friday Ibadin insisted Owoye Ebiwe will be charged to court, no matter the financial predicament that pushed him to join the criminals.

Oby Ezekwesili Don't Know What She Is Saying ––Says Reps

Posted: 21 Aug 2013 12:55 AM PDT

The House of Representatives have reacted to Oby Ezekwesili's "bogus" claims of their finances:
"If we are truly talking about cutting cost of governance, it has to be across the three arms. If that is the case, how do you explain a fleet of 10 aircraft in the presidential fleet and how do you maintain them
"Again, how do you defend N2b spent on air tickets by a minister, and that is just one Minister, what about the rest despite the fact that there is a presidential fleet. Why do we need up to 40 Ministers in the first place?
"The legislature and the judiciary have principal officers too and they have to travel as well; how many aircraft are they maintaining?"
The House described the comments of former Minister,Oby Ezekwesili as a "simplistic and escapist way of addressing a problem".

Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Victor Ogene, speaking with The Nation on Tuesday, regretted that the former Minister could not come up with simple calculation of what accrued to the National Assembly and the lawmakers in particular in the period under review.

Ogene said a National Assembly comprising 109 Senators, 360 Representatives and the bureaucracy, which include the National Assembly Commission, began to draw its N150b annual budget from the first line charge in 2010.

According to him, the N150b was meant for legislators' allowances, their aides, the civil servants, capital projects and allied institutions under the National Assembly, such as the Institute for Legislative Studies.

"Going by the fact that the entire National Assembly began to get N150b in 2010, it means that before then we could not have got up to that amount.

"To now come up with a calculation that the lawmakers alone got over N1 trillion during the period, I think that person is jaundiced. What is the percentage of N150b in a budget of N4.9 trillion? she should tell Nigerians".

"It would, however, suffice for Ezekwesili to tell us what recurrent expenditure was during her tenure and what it cost Nigerian taxpayers to maintain her and her aides for a year," Hon Ogene stressed.

This Man Went To Kill A Pastor But He Encountered Jesus

Posted: 21 Aug 2013 12:49 AM PDT

Deeply committed to his religion, Jayesh went to local temple every morning to worship his gods & godesses. One day, he met Gospel for Asia Pastor, Nabhith, as they were walking past one another through the village. It didn't take long for Pastor Nabhith to share his love for Jesus with Jayesh.

As he listened to Pastor Nabhith talk about Christ, Jayesh assumed the man was forcing local people to convert to Christianity. Jayesh became deeply angered. He told Pastor Nabhith to move out of the village and stop converting people or he would present a case against him to the local law enforcement.

Pastor Nabhith calmly told Jayesh he wasn't worried about a case being brought against him because he hadn't done any of the things Jayesh was accusing him of.

After hearing Nabhith's response, Jayesh decided he would not just report the pastor to the police—he would kill him.

To justify his murderous scheme, Jayesh was determined to catch Pastor Nabhith doing "evil things," so he began to watch Nabhith very closely. Wherever the pastor went, Jayesh was close behind.

Instead of finding evidence against Pastorr Nabhith, however, Jayesh found there was nothing forceful in the way the pastor shared his message with men and women. He saw Pastor Nabhith visiting the sick and desperate villagers out of a genuine love and concern for them rather than with a secret motive to gain power for himself or make the villagers convert to his faith.

Jayesh had misjudged this servant of God:
When Pastor Nabhith was at his church one Friday night to pray with other believers, Jayesh sat outside the building listening to the way the group spoke to one another and to the Lord. He heard prayers full of compassion for sick people and genuine concern for the villagers' various needs.

Jayesh wanted to join them inside the church, but he was nervous. He realized how desperately he needed God's forgiveness, and he began to weep.

Pastor Nabhith heard the loud cries and went outside to find Jayesh, the man who had recently been so angry and bitter, crying out to God. The men went inside the church and prayed together.

Before the congregation, Jayesh shared that his plan all along had been to murder Pastor Nabhith. He repented and chose that day to follow Jesus.

"Now I know that there is no blame on him," Jayesh later said about Pastor Nabhith. "He worships the real God."

Jayesh and his entire family now joyfully worship God along with Pastor Nabhith, whose life is truly a reflection of the loving God they serve.
