BREAKING NEWS! HURRAY! ASUU Finally calls off strike!

Report reaching us from Minna, Niger State capital, indicates that the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has called off its five months strike.
 The Union arrived at the latest decision to suspends its strike after a marathon meeting held at the Federal University of Technology (FUT), Minna, Niger State on Monday.
 
After a protracted debate, the Federal Government and ASUU reached a compromise during a negotiation brokered by the President of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Abdulwaheed Omar few days ago.

A Miley Cyrus fan has taken his obsession with the fan a little further than most by getting his body covered in tattoos of the pop singer.
After collecting photographs and watching interviews with her since 2009, Carl McCoid, 40, has had 22 portraits, lyrics and quotes from the star inked onto his arms, torso, hands, and leg.
Mr McCoid insists his obsession with the popstar did not contribute to the break up of his marriage in 2011 but told the Sun his wife thought his interest in the Hannah Montana star was 'a bit weird'.

The 21-year-old singer has heard about Carl but said his fixation with her made her feel 'creeped'.
Mr McCoid, who runs and ironing business in Bridlington, East Yorkshire, said: 'I think I need to go and see someone about it.' 
 
 Miley has her own collection of tattoos including her grandmother Loretta Finley's portrait tattooed on her arm, 'love' written on the inside of her ear, a heart, a cross and peace sign on her fingers and an equals sign signalling her support for gay marriage.
She got her first tattoo at just 17-years-old when she had the words 'Just Breathe' inked below her ribcage.
Miley also has a large dream catcher on her side, a skull on her ankle and the word 'karma' on one finger.

This chilling photo above shows a 6 year old girl walking hand in hand with a man through the lobby of a skytrain station in Bangkok, Thailand, ten days ago. Her body was later found, raped & violently murdered.

According to Daily Mail UK, her disappearance sparked a 10-day manhunt which ended yesterday after her strangled and decomposing body was found in a deserted area near the city's Suklhumvit Soi 105. Within hours of the discovery police arrested the man in the pic following a tip-off. 

The girl known simply as Nong Cartoon went with her father to go see a folk music concert, but when she became sleepy, her father took her to nap in his truck outside the venue around 10pm and returned to finish watching the show. By the time he came back 40mins later, the girl had vanished. 

The man pictured with Nong is a 32 year old man named Nui, who was released from prison in August 2013 after serving three years and eight months for the abduction of a child under 15 years. Continue to see more pics from the CCTV footage...

 

Senator Yerima divorces 17year old Egyptian wife, marries another 15yr old

Three years after marrying a 14 year old Egyptian girl named Marian, which was widely protested in Nigeria, former Zamfara state governor and serving senator of the federal republic of Nigeria, Sen. Ahmed Yerima, has reportedly divorced her to marry a new wife, City People reports. According to the magazine, Yerima and four men, said to be members of the Zamfara State House of Assembly were in Egypt a few weeks ago for the wedding fathia of a new bride said to be 15 years old. 

Marian who is now 17 and a mother of one, is believed to be the daughter of the former governor's driver whenever he visits Egypt. The reason he divorced her is to enable him take a new wife as he's not allowed more than four wives.

The Senator is alleged to have married and divorced a few women in the last few years but has never changed his first three wives, only the fourth ones.

Sen. Ahmed Yerima this year was strongly against the deletion of the section of the 1999 constitution which pegged the official marriage age in Nigeria as 18 years, saying it was anti-Islam.
