Humphries got Kim Kardashian to return her $2 million engagement ring as part of their divorce agreement following their 72- day marriage in 2011. Odom, 34, laid out his conditions after "momager" Kris Jenner ordered Khloe, 29, to sit down with their attorneys and hammer out a divorce deal, an insider says. "Kris and Khloe are very worried about Lamar. He's a loose cannon, and he has a lot of dirt on the family and nothing to lose," a source told The ENQUIRER. "He knows all about their extreme surgery procedures – when, how often and how much – and the pressure put on the younger girls to follow suit." | Comedian Julius Agwu sues Etisalat for N100m over blocked line Posted: 27 Nov 2013 09:33 AM PST  We are solicitors to Mr. Julius Agwu, one of Nigeria's most sought after entertainers (hereinafter referred to as "our client") and on whose behalf we write. Our client is the owner of the Etisalat GSM phone number 08189555555, which he uses as his business line. On the 8th of October, 2013, our client travelled out of the country and returned on the 17th of the same month. Upon his return, he tried severally to make calls from the aforestated GSM line but same could not connect. Not only could he not make calls, he also could not receive calls on the said GSM line. This continued for some days until he got a message that his line had been blocked by the network provider. | Weird: Groom disappears on Wedding Day, Bride marries Guest instead Posted: 27 Nov 2013 08:10 AM PST  It's unbelievable but true as a 30-year-old man who came to witness a wedding ended up as the bridegroom in a kind gesture as the bridegroom-to-be failed to turn up to tie the knot on Wednesday. Ponradha, 23, daughter of Palpandi of Lakshmimanagaram near Arumuganeri in Kanyakumari district was betrothed to be married to Sithiraivelu, 35, son of Jayaraman of Lakshmipuram in Kayalpattinam of the same district. The wedding was to be held on Wednesday and arrangements were on in full swing in the bride's hometown. They had prepared to welcome the bridegroom on Tuesday evening and were awaiting his arrival when they were informed that he had gone missing. Sithiraivelu's family had claimed to the bride's family that Sitharaivelu had a quarrel with them on Monday and walked out of their home. Though they had been expecting him to come back as usual, he did not return, they had further said. Hearing this, the bride's family went into a frenzy, as a stopped marriage would affect the girl's future. The news spread around the town of Lakshmimanagaram like a wildfire when Sivakumar, a relative of the bride who had come to take part in the wedding, agreed to marry Ponradha after his relatives persuaded him to do so. The wedding then took place as per the schedule, much to the relief of the family. The other guests who had come there also congratulated and appreciated Sivakumar for his timely gesture.  |
| How This Guy Killed His Boss, Sylvanus Okoye, Because of Séx Posted: 27 Nov 2013 08:01 AM PST  "I went along with a relative to report the matter to Okoye and he gave my friend and I N5,000 and shirts. He told us not to worry, so we slept over at his house. At midnight, however, Okoye came to my room and attempted to have sex with me but I refused him. "My relative later told me that Okoye had sex with him in the parlour that same night. We left in the morning and returned to Anambra State. From there, I went to Abuja where I remained for four months. However, one day, Okoye called me that he had a business deal and invited me to come to Lagos. "I told Okoye that I would not engage in any act of homosexuality and he agreed."The suspect, however, explained that he killed the deceased in self-defence. He alleged that on the day of the incident, Okoye had attempted to rape him, again. Explaining the events that culminated in Okoye's death, the suspect said he was a dancer and was lured to Lagos by a friend, Chukwudi, under the guise of doing music business only for the friend to introduce him to the act of homosexuality. He said he had gone to report the matter to his friend's boss but his friend's boss ended up rapping him twice and he reported the matter at the FESTAC Police Division. He said the matter was transferred to the Zone 2 Police Command and the case was turned against him and this made him to spend two weeks in detention. Emmanuel said he approached Okoye, who he considered an Igbo leader in the state, to help him with money to return to Anambra State when Okoye also attempted to rape him. The suspect said when he returned to Lagos, the man claimed he wanted to open a bar in the area and wanted him to manage the business. He said he passed the night at the deceased's home, but at midnight, the deceased crept into his room and attempted to make love to him, again. In his words: "In the evening, Okoye served me with bread, butter and tea in my room. Around 3.30am, he crept into my room and wanted to sleep with me, but I refused him. "Okoye was a big man so he attempted to overpower me, but I picked up the bread knife that was still left in the room and stabbed him in the neck, but he did not die. I picked up a flexible iron and bound it round his neck and locked him inside the room. "When it was 6am, I stepped out of the house and gave the key to one woman beside the gate and fled." The incident happened since August. According to Punch, on August 16, 2013, Okoye was found murdered in his home two weeks after he was last seen by neighbours. It was learnt that following the discovery, the security guard and the woman whom the suspect handed the key to were arrested by detectives at the State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba. After three months, detectives were able to locate the suspect in Anambra State. A police detective said, "The security guard told us that he could identify the suspect if he saw him. In the course of investigation, we obtained call logs from Okoye's phone and we learnt that the suspect had used Okoye's phone to call his girlfriend in Anambra State shortly after killing Okoye. "We travelled to Anambra State and we were able to locate the suspect who was even wearing the deceased's clothes." Emmanuel is, however, insisting that he was not a killer but a victim of circumstance. He added, "My father and my brother are dead. I am the only child of my mother. Who will take care of her (his girlfriend) if I am sent to prison? "I am not a homosexual but I was used. I tried for several months to impregnate my girlfriend but was not successful. I feel they have stolen my virtues."  |

The supermarket collapse is said to be the worst disaster in Latvia since 1950. Dombrovskis, who was the longest-serving prime minister of Latvia (2009 - 2013) felt so guilty about the tragic incident that he resigned. Let me type that again... | Photos: Mysterious healing river appears in Enugu state Posted: 27 Nov 2013 07:46 AM PST   According to reports, a Fulani Herdsmen first spotted the river and ran to people in the community to alert them of the discovery. He told them that as he passed the area with his herd of cattle, he heard a strange noise, and when he turned back, he saw the river that wasn't there previously. The community went to look for themselves and discovered that the water has healing powers. But the traditional ruler of Nachi community said something slightly different. He said the river appears every 20 to 30 years but dries up after a few weeks so it wasn't anything new. An elder in the community explained: "We noticed that after some years, the water will form a stream there and would disappear in few weeks. If such happens, we will be fetching water there. However, women who are menstruating and evil people don't go there. We never heard about healing power of the River until this recent appearance of the River. "The last time it appeared was in 1992, and at that time, it just formed a small stream, which later disappeared. It has never been as large as this.
