| His Marathon Sex Sometimes Makes Me Faint -Wife Tells Court •It Can’t Kill Her -Husband Posted: 23 Nov 2013 10:42 AM PST  A 45-year-old trader, Muina Adelami, has asked a Lagos family court in Lagos State to dissolve her eight-year-old marriage to her husband, Shuaib, a clerical officer, on the ground that his sex drive was high. "I have managed to stay this long in the marriage because I thought his libido would go down but that has not been the case. "In the eight years of our marriage, we only have a child, I had two miscarrages as a result of excessive sex.'' She informed the court further that her husband liked sex too much and gave her no breathing space. "We start having sex every night just before midnight and this goes on till the early hours of the next day. Many times, immediately after he comes back from work, he starts demanding for sex. ''He will refuse to stand up even when I am crying and will start beating me whenever I complain. "There were time I did faint, but when I came around, he would start again. "The way he's going, he will kill me. I now look older than my age mates due to too much sex," she said. In his defence, Shuaib admitted to having a high sex drive, but added that it was his right to have sex with his wife. "I was advised to marry a younger wife but I cannot afford that, that is why I take care of her and give her everything she wants. "I have been trying to change her mind on the issue of divorce, but she is adamant. I love her and would not want to divorce her. I also know that sex can't kill her," he said. The case was adjourned till December 4.  |

| Policeman Drags Wife To Court Over Fetish Substances Posted: 23 Nov 2013 10:33 AM PST  Mr. Folorunso Egbedokun,a policeman, told an Agege Grade 'A' Customary Court that he saw a bag full of fetish substances in the wardrobe of his wife, Mrs. Risikat Egbedokun, who did not give him peace of mind. "One day, I went into her wardrobe and I saw a bag full of fetish substances. When I asked her who owned them, she begged me not to tell anybody", the husband said. "Since that day, I stopped loving her." Folorunso informed the court that Risikat said that her mother procured the fetish items for her. He also said the wife always rained curses on him. The husband therefore urged the court to dissolve the marriage, and grant him the custody of the children for proper care. In her defence, Risikat, who did not want to divorce her husband, said Folorunso deflowered her. The woman said his husband drinks every time he receives his salary. "So, he abandons his responsibility as a father, and drinks around town," she said. "His sister wants me to leave my husband's house and rent a house in the neighbourhood, but I still love my husband". Meanwhile, the court president, Mr. Shokunle, adjourned the case for further hearing and warned the couple to maintain the peace.  |

| Eight Pupils At A School Get An Allergic Reaction Whenever They Enter The Classroom Posted: 23 Nov 2013 10:05 AM PST  Eight school children at a high school in Bergamo, Italy, suffer from breathing problems and itching as soon as they enter the classroom and medics have been unable to pinpoint the cause. The pupils get as far as the entrance hall of Falcone di Bergamo high school, but as soon as they enter the classroom they are overcome with a "mystery illness", with symptoms including breathing problems and rashes. Just eight pupils are affected, with five of those experiencing severe symptoms. The bizarre reaction to school has baffled teachers and medics since October 7th, when at first two school girls were hit with symptoms upon entering the classroom. The symptoms which mysteriously disappear after they leave the classroom - soon spread to two of their classmates, before affecting four others in a neighbouring classroom. Environmental tests have been carried out on the rooms, as well as medical tests on the students, but experts from the local health services have so far been unable to find a cause and external factors have also been ruled out. There have also been cases of other students fainting in the school, but it is not clear whether the two problems are connected. "We've seen it happen several times," one student in the second year told newsmen "There's nothing wrong with them when they come in, then as soon as they enter the classroom they start to have difficulty breathing; they say their throats swell up, and after a little while they start to itch all over their bodies." They are forced to stay as far as possible from the classroom, though their fellow students are able to continue the lessons without problems. "For now, all we know is that it's some kind of allergic reaction," headteacher Enzo Asperti told newsmen. He explained that the school had followed all the directions given by the local health authority, including cleaning the school and keeping it aired as much as possible. The school is considering teaching the afflicted students over Skype if symptoms persists  |
