Nigerian woman commits suicide in Abuja after sending Facebook suicide letter

The woman in question is identified as Asampete Fatima Usman, a graduate of the University of Maiduguri who lives and works in Abuja. Fatima hails from Hong city in Adamawa state.
According to sources, depressed Fatima sent out an apparent suicide letter to a couple of friends on Facebook on the 1st of October 2013.
In the suicide note, Fatima informs friends of her intention of killing herself but her friends thought she was joking.
One of her friends who got the mail late was convinced that Fatima would kill herself for using the term "end it all" but she was pacified by those she told who assured her that perhaps she had read too much meaning into the mail….she let it be but alas a few days later on October 8, 2013 exactly 3 hours after her last Facebook post, people started commenting that she had died.
To everyone's surprise Fatima's corpse was found by her family on the same day…. Alas she had killed herself.
People should try to act on time anytime a message of this nature is received who knows if they had reached out to her, she wouldn't have killed herself.
May the Lord comfort her family may her soul r.i.p.

Today wud be my happiest day to let out what I call a secret out from my heart. As a child while growing up, my family travelled down to the  village for holiday, that was the first time I went to the village at the age of seven. It was a happy reunion for the family seeing each other. My uncle has a friend named T****, their compound was not far from ours, whenever I go to his house he wud lock the doors and close the windows and order me to his bed.

At that tender age I will give him a blowjob, when he is well satisfied he wud tell me that if I shud tell anyone what happened he wud kill me. There was a day I was about telling my mum what was happening, I heard the echoes of his threat, instaed I cried to them telling them we have got to go. As a child they wud feel you are a kid. When we got back I wud lock up m y self in my room and not talk to anyone.


Am 22 years old now and the problem I have is that am feeling am becoming Gay, I don't make friends with guys instead I chose to have more female friends. Pls I need your help.

Is D'banj Already A Father? Website Says

According to reports from Famzin.com, D'banj has a child somewhere but has successfully kept the secret for a while now. His babymama is believed to be one of the women in the picture with him by the left. The owner of the website is also believed to be Don Jazzy's friend, and when Thenetng who tried to get to the root of this contacted him, 'He said everyone has got a source'. Funny enough, these guys are not backing out of this anytime soon, has they have promised to reveal who the real baby mama is, by asking us to stay tuned.

D'banj has however denied the story, lol. But from a comment i read somewhere, it says, 'That guy (website owner) was D'banj and Don Jazzy's friend, so he must have known a thing or two', lol.

11yr old Zuriel Oduwole appointed ambassador by Tanzanian 1st lady

Africa's child ambassador, eleven year old Zuriel Oduwole, the Nigerian girl making the global case for educating the continents Girl Child and in the process, re-branding Africa, has been appointed an ambassador by Tanzania's First Lady. Zuriel was in the country last week - which was her second county stop on her East African leg to launch the acclaimed Dream Up, Speak Up, Stand Up project aimed at inspiring/encouraging African girls.

On October 11th, Zuriel was in Dar Es Salaam to the attend the United Nations UNFPA event which focused on reducing the incidence of child marriage in Tanzania. After speaking at the event, she was formally invited to the office of the first lady Mrs Selma Kikwete (Zuriel pictured with the first lady above). Mrs Kikwete commended Zuriel for her leadership at such a young age, she also commended her for bringing issues of girl's education to several African leaders, then the first lady formally appointed Zuriel an ambassador for the largest foundation focused on gender issue - Wanawake na Maendeleo Foundation (WAMA) of which she's the founding patron.

Zuriel was presented with an intricate 3 foot statue of unity, the same type presented to the US president, to symbolize the effect of Zuriel's in the lives of Africa's young women. #BeInspired.
