SHOCKING PICTURE: Woman Delivers 'Horse Like Creature' in Edo church (Viewer Discretion)

Posted: 24 Jun 2013 11:24 AM PDT

Church goers got the shocker of their lives today as a woman delivered a horse(picture above).
Many worshippers of the World Liberation Ministry located along old Sapele-Benin express road on Tuesday took to their heels during a prophesy programme when a female member delivered a horse.
The horse was however dead by the time Journalists visited the church.
It was gathered that the woman whose identity was not yet known started screaming during the prayer session and began to bleed from the vagina before the horse came out.

The General Overseer of the church, Evangelist Silva Wealth, said he was still amazed at what came out of the woman.
He told Journalists that during prayers a revelation came that there was a woman with an issue and that something was blocking her womb.
Silva said as prayers intensified, the woman started screaming and bleeding started when the object came out.
The cleric said he couldn't confirm whether the horse was dead or alive because he didn't go near it.
"I can't describe the object. We have seen people that vomited several things during our service but not this type of thing. God has been blessing our ministry with prophesies and miracles, "he said.
People rushed to the church to catch a glimpse of the horse when news of the delivery filtered into town.
Most residents are still shocked as at press time, a resident (Anonymous), who spoke with NigerianEye however viewed this from a scientific and logical reasoning, suggesting that she must have been fertilized by the semen of a horse.

Many also say it is a hoax and this is really a horse's stillborn.
But is this scientifically possible? and do you think, this weird occurrence can be seen as a religious miracle? or we use scientific reasoning?

What is the way out for Actress Liz Da Silva now? Begs Man To Accept The Baby

Posted: 24 Jun 2013 11:20 AM PDT

Report is that actress Liz Da Silva enjoyed herself with three different men within short intervals, leading to her pregnancy and subsequent delivery of a baby boy. She tried to hook the pregnancy on each of the men but they all refuted her claims, for one reason or the other.
A close source told that she has finally narrowed down to just one man...
The man is a Lagos big boy and I hear she has sent people to help beg him to reconsider her and the baby. My source said Liz is now claiming that the Lagos big boy, who has dated many actresses, was the the only man that she slept with without condom, saying the two other men were using condom.

But I hear the man is still standing his ground that he was not the only one sleeping with her.

What is the way out for Liz now?

Bank Manager Arrested for Armed Robbery In His Own Branch

Posted: 24 Jun 2013 11:00 AM PDT

The worst enemy to deal with is, and remains, the enemy within. They are often too close to you that you just can't suspect them of any wrong doing, until the bubble finally bust.
Olokunbolablessing.blogspot.Com gathered that this same scenario played out in a bank in Delta State over the weekend as the branch Operations Manager of a first generation bank was arrested by police for allegedly coordinating a deadly armed robbery operation at the bank and carted away millions of Naira...
The gang had, in a commando style, succeeded in looting huge sums in both local and foreign currencies on Friday, while some bank customers and passers-by were wounded in the process.

Delta State Police command's spokesman, Mr. Lucky Uyabeme, said "the arrested Operations Manager of the bank is helping the police in its investigation."

According to investigation, the keys to the strong room found their way to his possession. Another top staff of the bank is also a suspect as he suddenly fell sick and didn't come to work on the day of the robbery.
The police has vowed to get to the bottom of the incident and prosecute all involved.

Floods Bring Snakes To Schools In Delta

Posted: 23 Jun 2013 04:34 PM PDT

Public schools in areas prone to flood in Delta State have been taken over by snakes, even as many of them have collapsed, a woman leader at Okoh community and a flood victim, Mrs. Ify Obi, told the United Nations delegation to Delta State at a town hall meeting organized by the state government in Asaba at the weekend.
Mrs. Obi said the Okoh/Amakon primary school in Okoh town is one of the schools that have been taken over by snakes and other dangerous reptiles, thereby preventing pupils and teachers from attending classes.

While appealing to the UN to assist the Nigerian government to tackle the problem, she lamented that the flood is taking a toll on them.

Joy Obiorah, a staff of Okwe General Hospital, and victim of flood, said, "the flood has completely finished us. No food, no house and many of us are being affected by all kinds of ailments".

She said her greatest regret is that her parents have become refugees in a remote community because there is no money to erect a new building for them after flood destroyed her father's house last year.

The state governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, on his part, told the UN delegation that the flood had a huge impact on the state and its agricultural products.

Uduaghan said: "Many of the victims were affected by various forms of diseases. The state did its best to avert the trend by evacuating victims from affected communities to new locations across the state to check the trend, especially nursing mothers and their babies".

He said a committee of experts was set up to access the extent of damage, and that their recommendations were sent to the UN for immediate assistance.

He flayed local government chairmen for not distributing relief materials to victims.
Responding, Valerie Amos, UN under Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Co-ordinator, acknowledged receipt of the state's report. She also commended the state government for the steps taken to ameliorate the plight of the victims.

Nigerians to start paying £3, 000 to enter the UK from November

Posted: 23 Jun 2013 03:32 PM PDT

Naija people, una dey hear this one? According to a report by UK Daily Mail, visitors from 'high risk' countries in Africa and Asia will have to put up a £3,000 cash bond to enter Britain.

The money will be kept by the Government if visitors do not return home by the time their visas expire.

A pilot scheme, introduced by Home Secretary Theresa May, will target hundreds of people coming to Britain on six-month visit visas from India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Ghana, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

The countries have been picked for their high number of visa applications and what the Government sees as relatively high levels of immigration abuse and fraud, reports the Sunday Times.

The bonds, to be introduced from November, will only apply to non-EU migrants, otherwise they would fall foul of European rights to free movement.

'This is the next step in making sure our immigration system is more selective, bringing down net migration from the hundreds of thousands to the tens of thousands while still welcoming the brightest and the best to Britain,' Mrs May told the Sunday Times.

'In the long run we're interested in a system of bonds that deters overstaying and recovers costs if a foreign national has used our public services.'

A second scheme will cover countries such as Kenya, the newspaper reports, which are considered to be lower-risk because immigration officials have fewer doubts about migrants' plans to return home.

About 2.2million people are granted visas to enter Britain every year. Last year 296,000 people from India were granted six-month visas, as were 101,000 from Nigeria, 53,000 from Pakistan and 14,000 apiece from Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

The Home Secretary plans to reduce annual net migration to under 100,000 by 2015.

Countdown to the 2013 Miss Nigeria beauty pageant and charity ball

Posted: 23 Jun 2013 03:26 PM PDT

InterContinental Lagos is proud to host the 38th Annual Miss Nigeria Beauty Pageant and Charity Ball. The state-of-the-art hotel, InterContinental Lagos, is located on the Victoria Island area within the heart of the Central Business District of the city of Lagos. The hotel is held in high esteem around the globe and is known to widely embrace events of distinct cultural taste and value.
Created in 1957, The Miss Nigeria Beauty Pageant is Nigeria's foremost pageant and discovering platform for young ladies. Notable among them are beauty queens such as Grace Oyelude, Julie Coker, Helen Prest-Ajayi, Binta Sukai, Vien Tetsola, Sylva Edem, Ene Lawani and Damilola Agbajor to name a few.

Now in its 38th year, The Miss Nigeria Pageant has become a strong symbol of African culture and tradition and is brought to you by The African Times Network.

This year's theme "Every Nation Needs A Queen" is centered on unity across the 36 states in Nigeria to promote beauty in diversity. The event promises to be more engaging and fulfilling in hopes that it will further unite Nigerians across its many cultural divides.
The 38th Annual Miss Nigeria Beauty Pageant would be a platform to support less privileged kids. Funds will be raised towards the cause - "Education; A Salvation For Kids".
Prior to the main event, the 36 contestants will be entered in for a reality TV show titled: THE MAKING OF A QUEEN. The Making of A Queen will be filmed in Lagos (partly at our partner hotel, InterContinental Lagos) and other neighboring cities and will run for a period of two weeks. During the reality TV show, the contestants would be given tasks and have interactive sessions with their fellow contestants. They would then be judged based on their elegance, poise, talent, intelligence and beauty. After a rigorous and nail-biting process, they would be narrowed down to 21 finalists who will then move on to the grand finale, where they will compete for the crown: and one winner will emerge.
Most importantly, these contestants would be representing their individual selves as the pride of Nigeria. Thereby, adhering to the theme "Every Nation Needs a Queen". In doing this they would be promoting unity and celebrating our cultural heritage. Unlike in the past, where they had to represent individual states.
This year's event promises to be a bigger and better show than ever before. We have a plethora of highly qualified contestants competing this year, and every single one of them embodies the core values of our organization.
We aim to create role models who through the beauty pageant will serve as ambassadors that will help define a new Nigeria; enrich the beauty of the Nigerian Woman, create a new vibe, energy and spirit for the advancement of women while positively impacting their communities.

Consequently, the Police have combed the houses of his friends and family members to no avail.

Moyosola explained that after the husband abandoned her she took their four children to their hometown in Ogotun-Ekiti. The doctor taking care of injured Moyosola, Dr. Matthew Adeyeri, told newsmen that she had about 12 centimeters cut on her head. He noted that it was sheer providence that she survived the attack. According to him, "if the cut inflicted on the woman's neck had been as deep as the one on her head, she would have died before getting to the hospital."

This is a photo that tells a thousand stories.
After Edo State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomole ,placed ban on commercial motocycles(Okada) in the state, the above picture is what has been happening to those who have no other source of income and survival. Nigerian governments do not want any Nigerian to be poor yet they enrich themselves and loot Nigeria's money. May God help us all!
